  Anglia Car Auctions continued its 2015 run of mega-sales as just shy of 300 cars came under the hammer on Saturday 22 August, resulting in around 75% of lots sold and a total of £2million. Top price of the sale was the £152,250 including premium paid for a 2001 BMW Z8.

  Ford sells Volvo 28 Mar 2010 (News)
  Ford has sold Volvo to Chinese firm Geely in a deal worth £1.2bn. It's significantly less than the £4.34bn that Ford paid for the firm in 1999. It marks the final part of Ford's brand restructuring, which started with the sale of Aston Martin and more recently Jaguar Land Rover to Tata Motors.

  As a result, motorists using the system - which is available in the ECOnetic Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo - tend to move through the gears more quickly. Ford explained this reduces fuel consumption, as it avoids unnecessary high engine speed. The manufacturer also claimed it cuts CO2 emissions and reduces wear and tear on transmission and engine components.

  The vehicle has made its official debut at a British Car Auctions (BCA) sale in Nottingham.
