  Hi All, I am in the process of buying a Mazda 6 TS2 (facelift) 2006, I heard that rust quite common the pre facelift model, especially around the wheel arch. Has Mazda sorted out the rust issues on the facelift model? or should I move toward a 2005 Mondeo/Honda Accord.

  Mazda being Mazda !! Mazda 3 '25MY - 2.0l G being replaced with the 2.5L as used in USA & Oz.  No turbo. Power & torque slightly improved, but still a low stressed engine for a 2.5L.

  Hello everyone, I was just wondering if any of you know why the 87000 mile service on a Mazda 6 diesel is so expensive. I rang today and was quoted £375 by a Mazda dealer, that's a standard price. This does seem very high as I had one before costing £approx £200. Any help? Cheers, N-I

  Reading the motoring press, they indicated back in January that the new model Mazda 3 was due this Spring, but have seen no fresh updates lately. As I am interested in purchasing this new model, can anyone advise the date of this new launch??

  Has anyone else experienced problems in getting spares for Mazdas - especially Ford based Mazdas and specifically the first generation 2? We have been waiting 8 weeks for our Mazda dealer to get an HT lead for our September 2007 2 (1.4 petrol). Mazda Customer Service aren't interested Our previous Mazdas (a 323 and a Premacy - both on 53 plates) had no such issues.

  One of the cars that is on my shortlist as an eventual replacement for my faithful Pug is a Mazda 2.0d (or preferably the 2.2d) Mazda 6 (it's a short list containg a Skoda VRS or the Mazda) However, as I've perused various forums I've picked up on comments that Mazda's are very expensive to service.

  Hi, thinking about buying Mazda 6 2.2d,2010. Are the mazda engines really that bad. Can any mazda diesel driver let me know of their experiences please.  They look great and seem excellent value for  money. Is it worth taking a chance.

  I have an 02 mazda 6 ts diesel estate with standard air-con. It has terrible problems with misting/condensation and I've tried pretty much every possible combination with the heating/ventilation/recirculation etc but always end up having to open the window and/or have the heating on full blast.

  Does Mazda Approved Repairer normally done a better job than other bodyshops? I am worrying about invaliditing my 3 years Mazda warranty. If I don't fix it by a Mazda approved repairer, will it ruin my warranty?

  The Mazda 3 has auto called Activematic - is that a ordinary auto box or a variable rubber band thingy - if so has anyone heard of any problems with them. - SWMBO Yaris is due for a change and next car has to be hubby friendly and have auto-- also needs a bit more power than Yaris to tow a small trailer -- Other than the Mazda are there any other recommendations for a car of similar size and petrol is preferred fuel - will be looking for 1 or 2 yrs old car.-- Yaris should sell privately.
