  Hi i am considering at the moment either JAGUAR XF or Xe, diesel since they are only used option and very popular or infinity sedan for example infinity m or their suvs, fx.ex petrol;. my question is in what things Jaguar is better or worse compared to that brand is Jag more reliable and more cheap to maintain and more parts available or i really want to make the right choise. Do u think Jaguar is better than, Honda,Lexus ,mazda,,Infinity or Volvo and if yes why : ) At the moment i am considering all of these brands so its hard ,       but here is some info, regarding honda i must get old honda, lots of miles, and some issues, in the end it will cost same price as jaguar xf 2014 year,  and honda will be year 2009 , petrol manual 2.4 engine,   Lexus are extremely expensive,     i will be able to afford lexus with no option at all maximum year 2011 hybrid IS, no option at all,   mazda i can get cx 3 year 2015 i think, petrol 150 hp very slow and not so high end equipment - and lack of service history.

  Next car i looked at was a Honda Accord.My requirements are that i want a soft suspension.The GT version is perfect looking with all the toys but only comes with 17" alloys and sport suspension(ie hard).They make the lower model with 16" wheels and standard suspension but non of the toys and body kit which i would like. Next car i looked at is the Mazda 6.I think the Mazda looks awesome with the body kit on and boot spoiler but the only 2 models that have it is the Sport (2.5 litre engine..too big) or the Limited edition Tamura(this one comes with 18" alloys which will make the ride to hard.

    I am in the process of purchasing a second hand Mazda CX5 2019 plate.  The approved dealer is offering an Autoglym Ceramic coating (with lifetime warranty, with whatever preconditions that will include to be claimable) for £350.   Would be grateful for thoughts on whether i should take them up on the offer.

  Maybe to comply with new safety regulations but how unpleasant to be a rear seat in passenger in modern  SUVs such as the Toyota CHR and Mazda CX3. Drivers now have to rely on rear view cameras and revering in the dark is a nightmare with the minimal reversing lights. Perhaps something you get used to but how pleasant it is to return to an older car with a high seating position and command post view out.

  Just been reading the 2011 reliability survey on What Car and the top 10 is no surprise to anybody that its dominated by the Japanese and Koreans. With (in ascending order) Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Toyota and Honda making up the top ten. Honda recording only a 9% failure rate with apparently the 99-03 Accord being their worst performer but even that is in the top 10 for family cars.

  I have narrowed it down to the following: Quashqai diesel-  3 months waiting Avensis Estate 2.0D 2010 Mazda 6 2.2D 125 or 163 2009 Passat 1.6D 2010- old model, fantastic fuel economy but is it reliable? Mini Cooper Clubman  2010-  hard ride? perhaps pointless Lexus IS 220D 2009 any other cars I may have overlooked?

  Wife currently has a 2000 Mazda 323 1.5 with around 85,000 miles on the clock. Wife has said that she wants a Nissan Note for her next car and I would prefer it to be a diesel. Cost to change budget will be between £1000 to £1500, bassed on a 2006 1.5 DCi Note, I think we will have to wait until 2012 before this comes feasible, or have a got my caculations wrong.

  Hello. I have recently got a 5 seater Mazda Premacy. The user manual says that for safety reasons, babies/children seat should never be fitted on the central-rear seat. So, only 2 child seats at the rear. It does not explain why the central one should not be used.

  I thought the battery in FiL's Corsa (1999) had died when no electrics worked. Used jump leads to start it from my Mazda 323TD and it fired up first time. However, engine management light in the Corsa lit up and the engine is now revving up and down of its own accord and kangaroos trying to drive it. The car will start which suggests the battery maybe okay after all.
