  I was surprised to find that when I drove an identical car the service agent lent me at the last service I got 47 mpg. All the Lexus agents Ihave contacted agree something is wrong with my car but none has yet said they can fix it. If someone knows what actually needs to be done to improve the consumption (or where I can definitely have it fixed) I would be interested to know as I really can not afford to go on as I am with this vehicle.

  The Mondewoe will be going soon, I am going to pay the man in the scrap yard extra so that I can press the button on the crusher. The replacement may be an L reg GS300 Lexus with 131,000 miles on the clock. It belongs to one of my supervisors who got it about 3 years ago for about 6.5K. He is looking for about 4K, I know it has only had minimal work done on it and has never let him down at all.

  Key factors are reliability, years 2020+ (as those tend to have reasonable CarPlay compatibility), 40k miles or below, suitable for long drives and occasional family use. I’ve done my research and I have narrowed it down to a 5 series Diesel, or Lexus NX? Are they decent choices or any I’ve missed? I’ve considered E Class but the left footrest is impeded somewhat for my big feet, and a Lexus ES which unfortunately hits my head at 6’4.

  HI I need some assistance on my second car purchase.  We currently own a Lexus rx300 02 plate with 111k miles and a Polo 02 with only 12k miles on it (yes you read that right 12k miles).   Neither car really work for us, the lexus is to big for the school run and eats petrol, the polo is 3 doors and a nightmare with 2 kids in car seats and I need more space for long distance relative vists at xmas.

  Few month ago I acquired a little used 2007 Lexus IS. The car spent most of it’s life garaged by a LOL (little old lady), recently with the cold weather the front tyres started to skip a bit when turning slowly over imperfect road or camber. My understanding is that this is a trait of rear wheeled motors with low profile tyres (mine is 17" on 245/45 at the back and 225/45 at the front, both Dunlops of some kind)..

  My 2002 LS 430 has been declared off road but has the MOT date coming up as I have use of another car for until the end of June 2017.I am hoping to transfer the insurance in end June to the Lexus but the problem is that the MOT runs out in a week.   Restarting the Tax is easy as I am on direct debit,but looking to get a days or a weeks worth of insurance is less straight forward.

  Evening all, Before, I saw the front quarter profile of a Lexus IS200 in black. I'm a fan of these so I slowed down a bit. However, as I rounded the bend, I noticed it had no boot. That is to say, it was an estate. It looked nice...as far as estates can but I think this was because there was very little overhang on the back wheels.

  Hi all, I'm looking to buy a (used) car (Budget is under £10000), and one of the most important things in a car for me is the interior design (dashboard, center console, etc).   I find interior designs such as Lexus CT200h (with all the back lights such as gree light when you go "Eco" mode or red light when you go "Sport" mode), or the ldashboard layout of the Honda CRZ to be very beautiful. On the other hand, I find the simple designs such as the ones on most BMWs and Audis to be extreamly boaring.
