  Since this oil is unobtainable I have just drained and filled with Ford oil (WSD-M2C200-C) as the gearbox is a Ford. All logical but the outcoming oil looked red ; could Volvo have used anything handy or is BOT130 red? Do all manual transmission oils mix happily? Synthetic and non synthetic? I didn't have enough oi to flush; should I be worried? Opinions welcomed.

  I have a 2000 Volvo V70 classic 170bhp; the heater fan on the air conditioning has suddenly stopped blowing; the electrics seem ok. I am getting conflicting advice: 1) That if the gas is low, the heater fan automatically stops blowing, and that re-gassing will cure it.

  hi, my volvo 03 reg' s60 T5 SE has become very camber sensitive! on a left camber it pulls to the left, and vice versa. does any one else have this problem with s60's? it maybe due to volvo not putting the sub-frame back on properly after a new gearbox was fitted?????

  Unfortunately it's very little to do with the type of fuel being used. Even very hard-used, high mileage cars experience the problem - Volvo unfortunately dropped the ball with this design.   in manual mode car is fine, no vibration, in auto mode a lot of vibration, has been in volvo garage for 2 days, they have ltered the soft ware but it is still very apparent

  Looks like Firefox is a better bet than IE9! OK, lets try again.   So we are a 2 car family, our car is a Volvo V50 2.0 R Design 08 reg and we also have a company car which is a BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics. I travel 90 miles each day to the office and back, so I drive the BMW and my wife drives the Volvo her 10 miles each day.

  After spending almost 20K at a Volvo dealer in Yorkshire I have been left shocked and disgusted. I really need some advice.  The car is a 2013 XC90R sold as excellent condition. Only bought 24 hours ago I brought it home to find significant repair work carried out on passenger side.

  Almost two months ago I ordered a new Volvo V70 from Smart Volvo in Edlesborough, Beds, paid £1,000 deposit by credit card and was given an eight week build time as the car would be a factory order with a few extra goodies such as a sun roof and winter pack.

  It is a V40 1.8 XS (122bhp) W reg April 2000 37000 miles verified By Volvo mot until June 2005 Volvo warranty until end of Feb 2005 usual Volvo safety features air con alarm cen locking front fogs radio cassette cd 4 new tyres (Bridgestone) and really good condition as you would expect from a Volvo approved used car.

  A friend has offered me a nice dark blue metallic Volvo S60 Turbo auto at a good price. I've driven it and its seems fine with agood turn of speed and refinement. It has 69300 miles with a full Volvo history. Whats the s60's reputation for 100k miles plus or should I buy something more ordinary.
