• Volkswagen Golf - First car, 08 Golf Advice? 8 Jul 2021 (Forum)
  My initial worry was that it had 4 previous owners but let me know what you guys think.   2008 1.9 TDI Match Volkswagen Golf 5dr DSG with 87,000 miles.  £3500.   Has full service history but only up to 78,000 miles.   The car has never failed an MOT though so I think that says its in good condition?

  Hi. I have a Volkswagen Polo match 58 model, and i'm a newly passed driver, therefore this MPG issue is giving me a real headache as I have no idea what is wrong. Basically i've been told that I should be achieving a minimum of 40mpg per gallon Well i'm achieving considerably less, so i decided enough is enough and i'm going to do a solid test once and for all.

  Also, the negatives of this model on the Honest John review ( https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/volkswagen/golf-vi-2009/ ) state: 7-speed dry clutch DSG problems. EA189 diesel emissions problems. Chain cam 1.4 TSI problems, especially Twincharger.

• Volkswagen T5 Transporter - Handbrake Fail 9 Mar 2015 (Forum)
  They checked the handbrake and said that one of the teeth on the ratchet was missing. I took a pic of it. I then took it to the local volkswagen dealer garage where I had had it serviced a few weeks ago. (Its only two years old, purchased on a five year lease package through Volkswagen) I left it with them to see if there was any other reason that the handbrake had failed other than me not leaving it in gear.
