Probably too old for any price guides and certainly it'll be influenced far more by condition than anything else.
A private sale guide would be about £700 for an absolutely perfect one, down to scrap for a shed.

There was a similar question asked here recently.
I think Blue Haddock said he took something similar in for arond £200 (main dealer trade in), but would be around £5 to £600 privately.
Anything from £100 to £750 IMO depending on where you live, its condition and length of MOT - if you go for a private sale.

Thanks for those. Perhaps I should give you a little more information. I have no intension to sell the car, but as you may/may not have read in one of my other posts, someone crashed into the back of it outside my house. To cut a long storey short, we're going through the insurance and I wanted to be armed with its TRUE value so I know how much the insurance company should be giving me.

Its true value is how much you would have to pay for another one.
Do your homework - collect prices on those in similar condition from dealers and private sellers. The insurance assessor will take these on board.

Thats right Hugo (good memory!) i took in an F reg Polo Coupe just after christmas - it was in reasonably good nick for it's age. If it was sold privately i would say £500 is about what it would fetch.
Yours is a bit newer so i guess £700 is about the money it would fetch as a private sale if it's in good nick.
