Just bought 2nd hand 207,1.4 diesel first registered May 2007. The heater does not work, only cold air. When re-circulation unit is on there is a slight heat. Have removed pollen filters to see if that made a differnece, but no luck. Any idea what it might be and how to resolve? Thanks -

306 water ingress 7 Aug 2004 (Forum)
Lately the passenger footwell keeps becoming wet. Radiator level remains constant and A/C cooling works o.k.. When heating fan is put on water can be heard sloshing about. Can't see anything obviously wrong. I take it that water is getting into the ventilation ducting somehow but I can't see where. Thank you in anticipation, Paul. -
Is front wheel drive obsolete? 30 Sep 2003 (Forum)
I have a FWD car and I love my car. It is great fun to drive. But I know it would be even more fun to drive if it were rear wheel drive. Now that many cars are going AWD and most of the cars that are RWD offer traction control, is FWD a dinosaur? -
Parking between two cars 23 Apr 2003 (Forum)
Parking was not part of the trest curriculum when I passed my test many moons ago. I can line up with the car in front, and then start to turn the wheel anti-clockwise full lock. I chicken out as ut looks like my bonnet may clip the rear of the front car. So I move on to somewhere where there is a BIG gap between two cars and drive into the space FORWARDS. -

Renault Clio S Edition 1.0 TCe CVT 2020 - Front Radar malfunction and other alarms 14 Dec 2024 (Forum)
The car was kept back for two days and I was told that a complete "software update" has been done and all was fine now. The car was delivered back by the Dealership driver and later on driving the car again found that the Front Radar alarm was still activating affecting active braking and I believe the adaptive cruise control. -

No front number plate 6 Apr 2011 (Forum)
It belongs to a well known tv and radio presenter, who owns several classic Ferraris (you probably know who this is). It was only after about the fifth time of admiring the car that he realised it has no front-number plate, only the rear (personalised) one. The famous owner simply pays the £60 fine everytime he's caught - there's no points attached to this offence. It also means he can ignore Gatso average speed cameras. -
Volkswagen Polo III (1994 - 1999) - yr1996 - Offside front window - very stiff handle 19 Oct 2007 (Forum)

Parking Question 2 Jan 2007 (Forum)
Hello and a Merry Christmas to one and all. Simple question, neighbour has a hardstanding in front of his house that he uses to park his car, no drop kerb or drive etc, just bumps over the kerb (carefully) and drives over the small grassed area to access his hardstanding, I have been told that as there is no 'official' drop kerb that if anyone wishes to park in front of his house he has no legal basis to complain, is this correct? -
BMW 3 Series - F30 316i engine powerful enough for daily driving? 26 Dec 2016 (Forum)
is the engine powerful enough? bearing in mind that I'm not the kind of driver that tends to push the car towards its limits really. Just for normal town driving and on motorways, do you feel that your car is crippled when overtaking with the heat or AC on for example? Should I consider 316i or completely avoid it?
