  • what to buy with £11,000 11 Dec 2003 (Forum)
Citroen seems cheap and cheerful but reliability an issue as it seems. Warranty Direct points towards Mazda (we have one already but too soon to judge its reliablity) but are they to be trusted ? I want at least 1.5 engine with air con. I thought a Mazda 3 or a Civic be best. Any advice ?
  • Burning oil 6 Oct 2003 (Forum)
If you compare this to his previous car, Audi A4 2.8 quattro, which only managed 1 litre per 1k miles, it is an improvement, but when I compare this with my brother-in-laws Mazda 323, that has covered 167k miles and still does not burn a drop of oil between 6k mile changes. Is it any wonder that Mazda feature so highly in all the recent car reliability surveys ????
  • car by car breakdown 22 Jun 2002 (Forum)
This may be contrary to mazda's official line, but please feel free to check on www.mx6.com By the way, I got a full service and a cam belt change for less than £300, so the belt change should cost no more than £150 at a reputable non franchise garage.
