  This new model does not have a space saver spare wheel. Would a spacesaver wheel for the 2008-2012 Mazda 6 be suitable?

  Hi team, I am confused on which trim to go for in a 2014-2016 Mazda 3. At the moment the only thing going against sport nav model is that it has low profile tires. Things I love with sports nav are Bose speakers and front parking sensors. I can lobe with out from parking sensors, but would like to know if speakers in se l nav version is good enough or not.

  So my Mazda CX5 failed its MOT on the brake discs and said they needed replacing. I was quoted approx 330 for this (using official Mazda parts) - I said that I would prefer not to use Mazda parts and that would hopefully reduce the costs.

  Now i've never had a puncture in 10 years of driving, however I still don't want to take a risk and do want to get a spare.   Mazda however are charging £400 for a spare wheel and a Jack to go along, which seems a tad excessive.   Has anybody been through this process and found a cheaper alternative?   Cheers   Bhav

  2007 Mazda 6 diesel, 98k miles. One year ago, car would slow down approaching even slight gradienst needing many downward gear changes. This followed by all the DPF problems finally needing new filter , sensors etc. new filter (patterned version) clogged twice, patterned sensors failed resulting in severe loss of power on motorway.

  Hi, My main dealer serviced up to last year Mazda 5 with 55k miles has started using oil at quite a rate recently. I took it to a good independant garage and they reckoned the turbo could be on the way out and is likely the reason of the oil use as there are no other signs of leaks etc.

  We have a 1997 Mazda 626 LXi 2.0 and we've been having a problem with losing power we've had a full service done a diagnostics done and even a Mazda service center try and find the problem and they said it was the center pipe and back box of the exhaust we took those off and it still does it.

  Ive been looking to upgrade my Old 306 estate and originally was looking at an a4 avant but got put off by the oil pump failures on the 2.0 td Ive now turned my attention to a mazda 6 estate. When im researching this car there are a lot of reports about the dpf clogging up and dumping loads of fuel to clear it I just wondered if these are a good reliable car? Also is servicing costs going to be expensive?

  I have a spare set of wheels with winter tyres for my newish (new model) Mazda 6. The dealer said that I need to make sure the original wheels are replaced on the same hubs and in exactly the same position after winter, because of the TPMS (and that there would be a warning light all the time when I'm using the spare wheels).

  Hello, I just a saw an interesting Mazda 6 2.2D SL 185bhp, 59 plate, for £6000, however it has 130.000 miles, that is like 32K per year. The interior seems to be in pretty good condition and the exterior as well. I am aware that this is a good engine (hopefully without the epic DPF failures as the previous owner drove for a loooong time, so I assumed all the soot is cleaned up,lol).The other car that I have in mind is a 2005 BMW 525D SE 100K miles, they are both the same price, I would like to know your opinion.

  Hi, I just bought mazda 6 05 reg and I think there is a problem with it. Not sure what can it be because it happens when it is warm outside. The symptoms are: between 1000 and 1500 rpm the car is stalling a little bit but when it is above or below those rpm it is fine.

  My 2006 Mazda 6 MPS has performed flawlessly for 3 years, but 2 weeks ago when I started up it made a terrible noise for a few seconds after start-up. Since then it's again been fine. This morning I drove for 2 minutes, and then I was unable to change from 3rd to 4th gear.

  Hi my mazda 6 2.0ltr 136 bhp diesel estate 2004, traveled round trip of 1000 mls stopped occasionaly for fuel after 800mls with no problems stopped for more fuel and on trying to restart car, it would not start brake down recovery people turned up and said it could possibly be low pressure and towed me back home, took to guarage monday morning they cleaned injectors replaced filters car drove perfect back home but would not start following morning (any ideas) cheers

  In August last year I bought a pre-registered Mazda6 with 8 miles on the clock for just over £14,000 from a main dealer. In June this year I was involved in a head on collision in Spain and the car was a write off. Mazda, without any pressure from me said that I qualified for a new car of the same type, and have just paid over £16,000 more for a new Mazda6 on a 59 plate, despite the fact that my policy states that new for old only applies if you are the first registered owner of the vehicle.

  I know you won't believe this in a buyers market, sales slowdown etc etc, Lady friend went to dealer to BUY a Mazda 6 delivery miles pre reg, no trade in. Treated by the sales staff like a leper, make a meek enquiry for a discount on sticker price with no trade, and was laughed out the place. She is now fed up and decided to keep her old car.

  I've recently got a Mazda 6 2.0D 2003 and I'm finding a weird knocking feeling in the steering wheel when moving at low speeds when turning to the right. Seems to happen more after braking and during braking (turning right).
