  Hi all,  just after some advice on a cheap run-around I've spotted for sale.  2006 convertible Nissan Micra. Seller says the driver door opens and closes but it's hanging a little.  Has anyone any ideas on the worst case scenario? They're wanting £800 and it has a full MOT.  It's also 50 miles away from me so I can only really make the one journey.

  Has anyone had problem with Nissan Pathfinder atomatic gearbox. Coolant mixing with  trasmission fluid causing gearbox failure and have you had any satisfaction from Nissan  as we seem to have hit a brick wall.My Pathfinder is a 2005 and has done 70 thousand miles but since i bought it in march 2012 i have only done 6000 miles  when gearbox went  it started with a shudder and was told it was a wheel bearing at a cost of 511 pounds.I have since found out that there is a problem known in U.S.A by Nissan but denied in this country.

  Hi Me again! Yes, after 9 years we still have the Nissan Almera!!! Bad news is I'm getting this fault, using the paperclip method as many of you have mentioned here. It's coming up as fault 63, which is Soloid Valve Relay. I've changed the relays, and also changed a sensor that was open circuit.

  Hi - I can't unlock a Nissan Micra that has been standing for about a year.  Neither of the keys will unlock the car remotely or manually (via passenger side door).  Do the batteries in the keys need to be 100%  to unlock the car manually ??

  I have lost the spare remote control (4 buttons) but still have the spare car key. Nissan wants GBP120+VAT for a new remote and programming. Would I be able to buy a remote for a Nissan QX (4 buttons) from a scrap-yard and re-programme it to work on my car? Before anyone mention about after-market remotes, I do not want to go down that route as I want to keep the car as "original" as possible, though I do not want to expense of a new Nissan remote.

  It seems from various media reports that Nissan is desperately trying to find a way out of financial disaster. Apparently Renault is thinking of pulling support, 9,000 jobs have been cut globally and its CEO has taken a big pay cut. One further reason being cited is Nissan's failure to offer a decent range of hybrid vehicles.
