Hello everyone, Hope you light the light.. I got my Audi A3 in April 2022, the guy before was driving 80miles/day 4-5x/week. Since I bought it it was ok. I don't drive long miles, locally, short trips around. And one day it didn't start. The guy helped me with battery boost starter. -

lighter in weight than the next lightest (Hyundai), and had the second cheapest list price of the four. The Audi, being the single motor model, had the lowest price, the Hyundai had the highest!. It had the second largest total luggage capacity (between 'frunk' and boot). Build quality on the facelifted Model 3 is also improved, though not up with the Audi or Polestar. -
Audi A4 B8 - Should I keep it after a DMF replacement 1 Aug 2013 (Forum)
As an aerospace engineer myself, I dislike the DMF concept. My confidence is now shattered with Audi and cannot decide if I want to sell it. It seems silly to get rid of the car after 2 years due to depreciation but feel that my hand is forced. An S-Tronic uses a DMF so that would need seem wise. It seems that a Mercedes C Class uses a goold ole torque converter so that may be the way to go - I just don't know if I can live with the boring dash/interior after driving an Audi! -

With the glowplug light on the dash flashing, which then went out after stop and re start, on re start it felt as if it had gone back to how it was before the injector was replaced, struggled to start, black smoke, smelt like burning diesel, when it drives it jumps along at 1400-1600 revs, but hwen you get over them revs it is fine. I have took it to a Audi Specialist who repaired the injector originally, and they cant find a fault with the diagnostic machine, so I have run it down to my local Audi dealer for diagnostic to see if they can shed any light.. -
AUDI A3 1.8T Service overdue...69k 25 May 2005 (Forum)
Hi Ok well got a Audi A3, forgot about the service. and its now at 69k with the service as i remember due at 65k. I dont think I will take this into the Audi dealers. If anyone can recommend a very good mechanic in East London/Essex then that would be great, otherwise I have spoke to a Mobile Mechanic to do the work. -
Audi A1 - Advice needed: Engine went within 6 months 8 Jan 2024 (Forum)
I had no issues with the car until 1 December when the engine suddenly cut out, and it wouldn’t start again. Mileage was clocked at 24,900. Called Audi Assist and the AA technician stated it was the cambelt and that it needed to be towed to a garage. The workshop at the Audi dealer are currently going through renovations and couldn’t accept the car, so after calling around I managed to book it in to another Audi dealer for 21 December, who are under the same franchise ownership. -
