I have a W-Reg 5-door Fiesta Finesse Just had my car recently serviced (feb) and about two-three weeks later noticed a fishy/horse smell coming from my heaters. Since I've been transporting a lot of manure about I didn't think much of it. Last week my dad went into hospital and I had to transport my mum in the car and seeing as it was 2am she wanted the heating on.

  • Cost of screen replacement 16 May 2019 (Forum)
Told him a heated screen was an option when I bought the car but he would not budge. What I needed was a heated, tinted screen in a frame for £495. So I rang Autoglass again to check what would happen if they could not repair.
  • Audi A3 SE TDI 2.0 (2004) - Radiator fans won't stop running (Fan Control Modu 25 Jul 2017 (Forum)
(I believe it's an 8p1)   If the problem really is the "fan control module", and I believe it is. Is the "fan control module" also on the back of the biggest fan for my car's model being from 2004 or is it elsewhere?   I'm asking this because on the back of the biggest fan of my car there is no heat-sink like in some models, mine only has the motor housing and it has holes.

In last week's Saturday telegraph, HJ said that diesel was relatively expensive at the moment due to the fact that it is similar to domestic heating oil, which always goes up in price in the winter due to increased demand. So just how similar are diesel and domestic heating oil? :-)

  • Blinded by the light! 8 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Would one of those sad 'wayne and sharon' style sun strips help in this case? To make things worse the dashboard in this car reflects in the windscreen which I find really annoying. Anyone do some sort of head up display that has radar and edge detection overlay so I can see what is going on out there?! Anyone make windscreens with a graduated tint so that it is stronger at the top than further down the screen?
  • Toyota Celica - Temp gauge flashing high and no heat 5 Dec 2016 (Forum)
Hoping someone can give an idea what my issue is. I have a gen 7 Celica and this morning I couldn't get any heat on my way to work. Figured it could be an air lock, however when driving home this evening the temp gauge kept going to hottest then back down every few minutes. When I got home I lifted the bonnet and there is coolant splashed all around near the coolant reservoir.
