Peugeot 3008 - Honda Jazz - i40 - Sell or stick for motorway commuter! 1 Jun 2023 (Forum)
Hi all, Just after some advice on whether people think it's worth selling a car to buy a diesel for motorway commute. Current cars are both petrol: Car 1 - Peugeot 3008 - 49K miles, 20K a year - bought for £20K in 2021, valued at £14K Car 2 - Honda Jazz - 28K miles, 5K a year - bought for £9K in 2021, valued at £9K No point selling car 1 due to depreciation but thinking of selling Jazz for an i40 (diesel) with 60K miles for £11K and use Peugeot as run around to extend its life. -

Hyundai i10 or Peugeot 108 - Please help: Buying first car 19 Apr 2015 (Forum)
I am interested in two cars, both only 1 year old, reasonably cheap to run and with low mileage: a Hyundai i10 1.2 litre 4 cylinder car and a Peugeot 108 1 litre 3 cylinder. The Peugeot is somewhat cheaper despite being almost new, but from what I understand it is not rated as highly as the Hyundai. I have test driven them in town and on the dual carriageway and enjoyed driving both cars. -

Peugeot 406 Locking Wheel Nut Removal 14 Aug 2006 (Forum)
A quick check of the interior of the car and a quick phone call to the previous owner reveals that the tool to remove the locking wheel nuts is missing (Damn!). How easy is it to "shear off" the wheel nuts (this is what loacl peugeot garage quoted a large amount of money for). Is this something I could do at home e.g. 6' of scaffold onto end of wheel brace? Is there really no way of Peugeot supplying another key tool (the local garage says not)? -
