  The car has full service with my local vw dealer, I know it is well out of warranty but feel this is a serious fault, after speaking to the dealer they initially said they will inspect the car and send a report to VW about a good will warranty repair, but now after speaking to VW they say due to the age and mileage of the car there is nothing they can offer me.

  Having been spoilt rotten with all the features this car has, there are a few we would NOT want to do without, some I would not even consider very high end, yet don't seem to appear as often as you would think, others are high end. So what other cars have these features (the ones we would not want to lose) New in 2020/2021/2022 Compact/Medium SUV style Examples on the market under £20K, (less than 50K miles on them) Electric heated drivers seats with memory positions.

  I’m in the market for a spacious (and reliable) used 7 seater with a budget of £12,500 Must haves are: petrol, auto, heated front seats, raised seating position OR comfortable drive (due to my disability), reversing camera, room for 2 teenagers in all of the rear 5 seats (so no Qashqai+2 for ex.) but also not as big as a van styled motor such as the Alphard or Berlingo Would be nice: leather/half leather trim, tray tables to back of front seats, half decent mpg After much deliberation I’ve cut it down to an imported Estima vs 1.4 Sharan - around an 11 plate or newer, with less than 100k on the clock and good history (Verso is too small, XC90 worries me with repair bills, don’t fancy a Zafira, Galaxy, S Max, Grand Picasso, or Alhambra) Have I missed anything worth considering - such as an older X5?

  Does anyone else have a crummy heater? I have been told by a plant technician that the diesel-engined cars don't have as good heaters as the petrol versions, but 45 minutes to get vaguely warm sounds a bit off. What can anyone else suggest?

  Hi, we have a nissan micra. Recently when you pull the wiper lever to make the fluid squirt out onto the windscreen it no longer does it. I listened and it does not make any noise, so I think maybe it is a problem with the fuse, pump, electrics, washer lever switch? Any ideas how to go about fixing it?

  Sorry to be a complete girlie, however, I have a blockage in the tube leading to the driver's side windscreen washer. When I say blockage, I can see the tube and the tube appears to be hard in the middle, like its calcified. All other washers are working fine. How do I fix it? Can I pull the tube off and replace it?

  Car cooling system appears to be under performing on the heating of the car? The temp gauge is not getting up to temperature consistently, the radiator fan does operate when car stationary but in the cabin when driving even with the dashboard fan switch on '4' the heating is mediocre !?!

  Most days she will drive 80-100 miles, primarily on country or A-roads, with a bit of small-town driving. Very occasional mostorway trips, but not often (and for long ones she could take my car). Reliability and safety is important - we depend upon our cars most days, so definitely don't want something which'll break down often). I'm pretty scrupulous about getting our cars serviced properly.

  This might seem like a silly question but it is driving me mad. I replaced the original wiper blades with new ones last year. My windscreen wipers squeak quite loudly only when the windscreen is wet, they do not squeak when the screen is dry. Is there a way I can stop the squeaking blades?

  My drivers heated seat has given up on my 53 reg Mondeo. All the fuses are ok, the control switch lights up ok, there is power to the seat plug but no heat. Anyone had similar problems or ideas? Sounds like the element but just thought i'd put it up here for some pointers.
