  Hi all, I'm trying to wire up a dash cam to the fuse box, I need to do it to the ignition fuse. Can't work out which fuse it is as I don't have the manual....

  Is it possible to fit alternative tyres to the expensive and uncommon 215/45 18 tyres fiited as standard to a Volvo S40 with 18" alloys? My Volvo dealer has stated that it's not, however a number of tyre fitters believe that the more common (and substantially cheaper) size of 225/40 18 is a potential alternative.

  And longer term, lots of anxiety about damage done to the inside that cannot be spotted at this stage. The moral? If buying a second hand Volvo, make sure the full service history is a Volvo full service history - not because the Volvo service is inherently superior but because if there is one brief lapse, Volvo have an instant get-out should anything go wrong and they will use it.

  BBC Watchdog covered Volvos 2/3 years back and there was a denial of the problem at that time from Volvo UK Volvo Cars said Thursday it was recalling a total of 56,000 vehicles because of two separate problems. Volvo Cars spokeswoman Maria Bohlin said 38,000 diesel cars of the S60, V 70 XC 70 and XC 90 models made in 2006 were being called back in Europe due to a material fault that could cause the motor catching fire.

  I own a 1994 Volvo 2-litre automatic which has done 65,000 miles and is serviced regularly by the local Volvo dealership. It has recently developed a loud whistle when first driven from cold. The noise comes whilst accelerating and continues until the engine warms up (5 to 10 mintes), it then stops and the car runs normally whilst the engine is warm.

  Hi All, Just looking for a bit of advice from owners hopefully, I am changing my civic type r in the next few weeks and will be moving back to Diesal as I am travelling more with work and need more space for 3 kids at the weekends. I have narrowed down the search and I can afford either a 12 Volvo V60 R-Design (Has to be R-Design as I prefer the look)  Or else a 2014 \ 2015 Hyundai I40. I know volvo would probably been seen as a better brand but the Hyundai would be 2 years newer and is also a bit bigger inside.
