  my boot lock mechanism is stuck in the locked position, it can be opened from the inside by moving the catch along though.  any ideas???

  I recently purchased a K reg Volkswagen Polo with 23,000 miles on ( was owned by an old lady) it's in a okay condition has some rust,definetly needs a paint job and some new break pads. Someone has offered to buy it off me for £150 and a 2001 nissan micra with 60,000 miles.

  Hello I have just bought a 2008 Volkswagen Polo 1.4 (80 PS) Match. Please can someone confirm whether this engine has a timing chain or a belt? I have had a look online but the information seems to vary. The car only has 31,000 miles on the clock - if the engine has a timing belt, would you recommend that this is changed?

  My last two cars have been new Volkswagen Golfs. When the inside of the car's screens mist up you can see circles on the screen where the suction pads were located when the screens were installed during production. Whilst the previous vehicle's circles were not in ones line of sight the latest one has them in an annoying postion.

  I seem to have an intermittant problem with my heating in my volkswagen polo. When I put it anything past 22 degrees and then put it back to cool it stays hot which obviously is very uncomfortable when you are on a motorway and boiling alive! However it doesnt do it all the time, could it be to do with the dial?

  I am considering buying a used 2004 Volkswagen Sharan 1.9TDi SE and commissioned an AA inspection today. The inspector reported that there was only one problem in that he could see oil on the outside of the turbo input pipe. Can anybody tell me whether this is going to cost a lot of money to fix because I want to make a decision today or tomorrow as to whether to buy this car?
