The car is fitted with TPMS - is there any problem with swapping the front and rear wheels? Not sure how TPMS works so want to check if this will affect the sensors or not?

The TPMS on my Seat (like my old BMW) works via the ABS sensors, no pressure sensors in the wheels. All you need to do is go into the menu in the radio (or however the Tiguan works) find TPMS and reset it once you have swapped the wheels over and checked the pressures are OK.

VW use a seperate sensor for each wheel so I am not so sure the above info is correct I would check on a VW forum or ask at a main agents.The ones I have used on Mercedes and Renault are specific to each wheel and have to be put on the computer to change there position.
