  The impressive two-seater concept is capable of 205mph and gives a clear indication of what future Aston Martins could look like. The CC100 will be joined by the V12 Vantage S and the racing version of the Vantage GTE - all three cars will be in action across the weekend on Goodwood Hill. Marek Reichman said: ‘I’m really excited to be driving CC100, such an important car for Aston Martin, in the thrilling surroundings of Goodwood on Saturday and Sunday.

  Porsche to demo next 911 generation at Goodwood 10 Jul 2008 (News)
  In its 60th year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche is to show off its latest batch of 911 vehicles. Exhibited at the show will be the 911 Cayenne S, which visitors will be able to drive in exchange for a charity donation, along with the 911 Carrera - a model set to take part in the Sunday Times Supercar Run. Another highlight of the Sussex event is the Porsche 911 GT2, the brand's fastest car and its most powerful, with a 530bhp engine, which car insurance customers may be interested in.

  Politician calls for emissions incentives 6 Mar 2008 (News)
  European car manufacturers should be offered incentives to cut their emissions, according to the UK's environment secretary. Speaking on BBC Radio 4's PM programme, Hilary Benn suggested carmakers could consider moving their operations elsewhere if there is no incentive for them to reduce emissions in line with the EU's environmental legislation. The European commission has proposed restrictions on car emissions, with an average limit of 120 grams per kilometre (g/km) set as a target for 2012.

  Porsche: Congestion charge hike is disproportionate 20 Feb 2008 (News)
  Andy Goss, managing director of the firm's UK operations, stated that the hike is disproportionate during an appearance on Radio 4's Today programme. From October 27th, motorists entering the centre of London in high-emissions vehicles will be asked to pay a £25 charge per day under the new plans. Mr Goss said the new fee was effectively "a green tax for those who own certain cars in London".

  London congestion plans 'could backfire on emissions' 11 Jan 2008 (News)
  Clean Green Cars states that employing a £4 charge for vehicles emitting 110g per km and under would be more in-line with Mayor Ken Livingstone's claims that the charge is not a gas tax but a congestion tax. "Reworking Transport for London’s proposed framework for an emission-based charge could have a more positive impact," read a company statement. This comes as research from Greenpeace has found that agricultural practices may be responsible for 17 to 32 per cent of carbon emissions.

  This is Ford's latest success at the award's ceremony, having picked up the Scottish MPV of 2006 gong for its S-MAX as well as the overall prize in 1998 for the Mondeo. Consumers have been able to drive the model from Ford dealerships since it made its debut in 1993.

  Euro NCAP awarded the model a five-star rating for it adult occupant protection in addition to four stars for its child safety features. Gisbert Haeb, Ford of Europe vehicle safety manager, claimed the Mondeo was becoming a safe automobile with the release of each new model. He said: "It demonstrates emphatically that the work we devote to optimising the safety of Ford vehicles really pays off where it counts in a family car like Mondeo with significant protection for adults and children alike.
