  • Peugeot 306 - Heater Matrix Replacement 24 Nov 2010 (Forum)
There are no shortcuts except try and not remove the matrix rubber grommit in the bulkhead but disconnect the plastic pipe assembly inside the car under the windscreen and close to the bulkhead. This is very important and re-fitting the grommit is a 2 person job using the old string technique that used to be used 40 years ago when windows were hed in by rubber trim.

  • Replacement Windscreen? 22 Apr 2008 (Forum)

  • Nissan Leaf - My Leaf experience 30 Jul 2016 (Forum)
"Started" the car - in effect pressed button and turned it on like a TV - having no noise takes some getting used to. Heated windscreen and rear window, electric heating to cabin so within 2 minutes the windows were defrosted and the interior was warming through.
  • Mazda 2 - Ice on inside of windscreen 4 Feb 2015 (Forum)
During the recent freezing weather we have noticed that in the mornings there is a layer of ice on the inside of the windscreen. Is this something that should happen on a newish car? We've had it happen before but always on far older cars. Most daily trips are fairly shortish (4 or 5 miles per day) so could this be a factor?

  • Ford Fusion 1.4 style+ 2009 - What seal for gap cowl moulding to windscreen 14 Nov 2015 (Forum)
Bought the car recently and noticed that the plastic moulding where the wipers are fitted has a gap where it fits to the windscreen.  I remember a 2003 Focus used to have the pollen filter under the same moulding and often the mechanics would break the clips removing it, I know because it happened to me and I managed to glue it and fill it in with black sealant.
