As HJ says, good supermini, if you can get it for less than £10k go for it!

Decemeber is a quiet month - and it's approaching the end of the month now

You will be able to bargain, it depends on how good you are at haggling. There is always room for 'movement' and dont let them tell you otherwise

There is more room for 'movement' if paying with finance

Thanks for the quick replies. The deal at the moment is 50% upfront the other 50% is 0% APR over 4 years.

I think I can haggle with them!!

If you get it, will you come back and do a review after driving it a bit? My mum wants one and I like to read owner reviews for her!

Are you ok with the ride qualiy ? I found it gave a firm & giggly ride and after about 30 minutes at the wheel I've actually had enough. That was the same model you're considering buying. It's a nice car otherwise, nippy, handles and drives well but living with in every day with that giggly firm ride is another thing.

A standard spec. Mazda 2 Tamura 5 door 1.3 (no options) can be purchased for around £9777.00 on the Internet.

You shouldve been there a few years ago when a friend was telling me about the troubles with his Ford Escort.

'I was bouncing along the road in my Escort, just about spluttering along, she was making an awful noise and eventually the backend fell out completely, exhaust box on the ground scraping along so i dragged her into a hedge and sorted out the rear...'

I must admit that I did seem to think that you felt the pots hole abit more than usual. But this this not a case of getting used to it. ie a have an A3 now which is quiet smooth.

I will have a look at the Tamara model, as £9777 is a good saving - where abouts was this deal?

Umm...oh dear...I meant jiggly ride...

..mind you I like the idea of a car with a giggly ride, wonder who's going to be the first to promote that as a new feature ah !

Maybe start a new thread for giggly motors...
