Cleaning the windscreen (inside) 20 Jan 2010 (Forum)
The obvious place to stand in order to get some leverage is outside the car alongside the windscreen but, of course, the door gets in the way. Any ideas? -
Car Bras 28 Mar 2006 (Forum)
It's been changed because it gave no hint of what the thread is about. HJ.) Saw a Chrysler Grand Voyager in the local car park this morning -the front was hidden by a padded plastic cover that extended from below the grille to the windscreen. Presumably to prevent stone chips, but it completely ruined the look of the car. -

Ford Fiesta - Fiesta MK 4 1998 1.3i crazy electrical problems 3 Aug 2011 (Forum)
The headlight/indicator arm does nothing but the car head lights do come on. The front windscreen washers try and move but judder about an inch or so. I have been round in circles changing the fuses and unplugging things. It is really strange the whine coming out the interior fuse box and having crazy control over the other electrics. -

Hey. I was washing a friend's Mercedes 1997 W202 C Class. I pulled the (single) windscreen wiper up somewhat in order to wash the car. Now the windscreen wiper won't go back down to touch the windscreen. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Many thanks. -

Windscreen Washer Dilutant 12 Mar 2009 (Forum)
I bought a bottle of windscreen washer dilutant recently and was intrigued to see that one of its features as advertised on the label was 'Citrus Scented'. I thought nothing about it but now that I have started to use it there is a definite (and quite pleasant) lemon aroma that permeates the interior of the car after each squirt of the windscreen washer. -

Forget ice scrapers... 2 Mar 2004 (Forum)
... on a cold and frosty morning to clear windsceen etc. Get a kettle - or other container - of MODERATELY WARM and pour over front and rear screens, side windows and mirrors. Start engine, wipe screen and go. Quick, convenient and safe too - the water heats up the glass and prevents misting. Simple. -

2006 Audi A6 saloon tdi - water leak 2 Jan 2020 (Forum)
Rear footwell fills up with water. When about 3 inches of water in well it transfers to front well. I ran hosepipe on front windscreen and water leaks in and I think runs down a channel in the floor plan to the rear. Cleared what debris i could but have not yet removed pollen filter as its awkward to get at. -

Mondeo v S60 5 Feb 2009 (Forum)
(yes, I know they don't all look like must-haves...). 0 - 60 under 9 secs Top 130+ MPG in the mid thirties or better 16" tyres cheaper to replace than 17" Heated front screen Heated front seats Cruise control Roomy front & boot (hatchback preferred really, but S60 is exception) Would prefer to buy one with under 30k miles Not an estate Prefer a manual I've had enough trouble narrowing the choice down to these two really, but if anyone has any other suggestions which fit the bill I'd be happy to consider.
