    Mazda’s involvement in Aerobatics Mazda is the official car supplier to the World Aerobatic Championships, Mazda cars are being used to ferry pilots, team personnel and championship officials to and from Silverstone. Mazda also sponsors the British Aerobatic Association to offer funding for the Mazda Aerobatic Scholarship to train promising pilots between the ages of 16 and 25; the Mazda Bursary to fund the training to move up a level for pilots who have shown promise during the season; funding for the National Championships and training for Team Mazda UK in preparation for European and World Championships.

    Employees in the East Midlands (80%) and West Midlands (90%) do the most driving for work of all the UK regions, while across the UK as a whole nearly three-quarters (74%) of all adults say they use their own car for work purposes. Employers need to be aware that private ownership of the vehicle does not absolve them of their responsibilities when vehicles are driven on company business. Employees in manufacturing industries are the most likely to feel pressured by colleagues or bosses to speed (13%), while those in the financial services sector are best at switching their phones off when in the car; 67% say they always do so.

    Production at Honda's Swindon car factory has stopped due to a delay of parts. Honda confirmed that production will not run on Thursday 10 or Friday 11 December due to transport-related parts delays. The manufacturer told HonestJohn.co.uk: "The situation is currently being monitored with a view to re-start production on Monday 14 December."

    More than a quarter of of female motorists feel that they have been overcharged by a garage when they've had work done on their car. The survey by warranty and maintenance company Motoreasy showed that nearly one in three women questioned have stopped using a garage because they felt they were being taken advantage of, with a third of younger women drivers between 20 and 25 years old saying they felt most vulnerable.
