  Why are so many new cars appearing with the Audi style dynamic indicators. Even lorries are fitted with them now. When these first appeared, they were something different and unique to Audi. Now they are on everything and to be honest are becoming a bit boring.

  Took it my local garage today who plugged it into whatever they plug it into and no errors were recorded or faults found. Do I need to take it to an Audi dealer for a more accurate diagnosis? It’s a 2017 model with 30,000 on the clock. Thanks.

  With these essential components now almost exclusively manufactured in China and JIT car production, large manufacturers world wide including Audi and Ford in Germany has ground to a halt. Honda and JLR are affected in UK on top of Brexit delays. Demand for chips for hand held devices and gaming machines during lockdown have been blamed.

  I’ll Admit I’m clueless with cars so I could be told any price and if I can afford it I’d pay it. I have been quoted £499 for a reverse camera and £300 for parking sensors on my Audi a1 sport. One of my brothers who is really in to cars said that’s too expensive and the other one who Knows nothing but has nice cars said “it’s good that” Does anyone have an idea what I should be being quoted for this?

  Rumours some of the Vauxhall stock (meant to be the GM stuff from korea such as the Mokka and Viva plus any remaining Zafira Tourers) and some of the Mitsubishi stock is set to under go a big registration event in August. Audi have some models to shift as well. Is anyone aware of any other manufaacturer and which models are also likely to see a large portion of there UK stock registered before the 1st September?   Likely to be some bargains about early September, cash buyers take note!

  I'm selling my 64 plate Audi A3 and just want ride as I have gotten a work car and no longer require the vehicle. I don't like the idea of selling to we buy any car because apparently they do not offer a fair price. I have found a local company to me called Sell your car to Jack, does anyone in the Birmingham area have any experience with this company and could give me some more insight?

  Can anyone explain the if any problems can arise by using different viscosity oils. The car neded a top up and for reasons too long to explain, I checked with two Audi dealers which oil to use and one said Castrol Edge 5W/40 and the other said Shell Helix Ultra 5W/30. When I discovered the oil that came with the car (Shell Helix 0W/30), the Dealer then confirmed that this too would be suitable.

  I was wondering if you guys have any experience with this company. They specialise in high mileage audis. How do A4 diesels hold up against high mileage (110,000 miles)? Will I be looking at massive repair bills some time in the future? I would like to put at least another 150,000 miles on it. Cheers -bnazir

  My latest 2nd hand car, a 2012 Audi A4 with Quattro, was delivered with an out of shape 18" alloy wheel (front left) which caused a lot of vbrations at high speed.  Took it back to the garage and they replaced it under g'tee.  However, if the previous owner had driven like this for 10-20k, what else could have been damaged behind the wheel ?

  Staying getting intermittent and worsening radio reception on my 2011 ST. This is virtually the same car as Audi A4 avant so tracked problem down to a very problematic aerial booster used by Audi, loads about this on Audi forums. SEAT confirm the same part number is available to order for my car. However, the forums all show that the location for the booster in the A4 is under the rearmost headliner.

  http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/business-27392157 The above link is to a bbc report about hoe Audi dealers led customers to believe that all there cars are euro nap tested.  Just goes to show you can't trust car salesmen.  I know not all car salesmen are unscrupulous and just out for your money but lying about the safety of the cars should be a big no no in my books.

    Could it be the connections at the back of the stereo unit?  If so, how do I remove the stereo - do I need a special Audi tool? Thanks Simon

  I have purchased recently an Audi A4 almost 4 years old (Reg. Oct.2006) While it is in good condition generally, the brightwork which I understand is Aluminium (not Chrome) has discoloured in places with what appears like a milky or while paint mark.

  hi can anyone help me with the following problem or point me in the right direction? I have a audi a4 1997 1.8 adr engine with a misfire .I cannot run the car on the road so i dont know what the misfire is like when being driven,but when left to idle until warm the misfire apears when the engine is revved.

  Hi, everyone. I've got a 2001 Audi Allroad tdi automatic. I am currently experiencing a problem with my air suspension. It seems that the front suspension is struggling to raise up. Once I press the "go up" button, the rear suspension goes up straight away, but the front one will take very long time to go up.

  Hi folks, On trying my soft top it would not open fully, it got stuck 1/4 to 1/2 way, and wouldn't then close by the switch, had to use the release key to close, it's never happened before, but has not been used for a few months due to our rubbish weather. any ideas, does it need some lubrication somewhere, don't fancy an Audi garage ripping me off.

  I notice that my present car , an Audi A3 , demonstrates, depending on road surface, highly variable road noise levels. Tyres are :Dunlop SP Sportmax 225/45 ZR17 (standard suspension). They are quiet(ish) on smooth roads but are very noisy on some B roads.

  Once a routine part of any mechanics day,this old stalwart has made a recent re-appearance in my Audi 80 (1992). It`s a Mono-Motronic system I think and I`m at a loss to discover why the sudden onslaught of crown burning pinking. Should I start by cleaning the Crank Position sensor.....or would the FI unit itself be at fault,,?

  Hi I bought a 1996 Audi A4 recently.Its been giving abit of trouble since he got it. The radiater fan always comes on even first thing in the morning when the car is cold. Yesterday morning the car cut out after about 10 minutes driving and would not start for about 15 minutes Also while driving it takes ages for the temp gauge to move to the middle (it never goes to the red) and stays and usually goes back on cold after a while.

  Hello All, I have a 1997 Audi A4 2.4 V6 engine code AGA. Just come back from a week away and the thing wont start. It fires up and then cuts out after a couple of seconds. After trying a few times there was some smoke from the exhaust and a smell of unburnt fuel.
