• Wheel alignment using a piece of string 22 Nov 2011 (Forum)
  When I was a kid, I remember my grandfather doing this. I guess this procedure is fairly crude compared to laser wheel alignment. Does anyone have any simple steps for doing this? Does anybody still do this? Or is this another lost technique?

  The outer edges of the front tyres are wearing much more than the rest so I think two new tyres plus wheel alignment is in order. Can't remember the last time had to do this so recommendations for some where in Greater Belfast please. Happy Christmas. Alan.
