  Does anyone know anywhere one can obtain genuine BMW paint for aftermarket use, other than through a BMW franchise? Looking for a "touch-in" pencil and a spray can of a base metallic paint. Thanks.

  I have just purchased a 3 yr old BMW from a non-franchised dealer advertised with full BMWSH. When I asked to see the paperwork he produced a number of copies of BMW receipts for every service and this shows the car has indeed been well maintained by a main dealer.

  If I wanted to find out what the actual problem was I would have to take it to a BMW dealer and have it put on there computer (at the current cost of a BMW technicians time). I found some info on a website saying that BMW ABS problems are usually to do with a sticky ABS pump motor relay, wheel sensor or the ABS ECU (expensive).

  Hi all, Does anyone know if you can simply change the rear indicators bulbs on a F20 2016 BMW 1 Series? I'm a little annoyed at BMW, the front of the vehicle has LED indicators and headlights and the tail bars are LED but the rear indicators are not. Why BMW has done this I don't know. Their competitors (Audi A3 / Merc A Class) all have rear LED indicators!

  My wife’s BMW X3 (2.0D) has suddenly lost 4 wheel drive and now uses only 2 wheel drive. At the same time a number of warning lights came up (ABS Warning,   Brake System Alert, Warning Light and 4 wheel drive light).

  As anyone got any technical data comparisions for the 320d - 150bhp and the Rover using the BMW unit - 166/131bhp, is it just fuel pump or does it go deeper?? Have seen re chips for 180 bhp for the BMW unit. K2

  Im setting the tappets on a BMW M6 and am after the device that enable's you to remove the shim. Its a hook shaped lever, BMW will not sell them!. Does anyone know who would make them where I could get one from?

  I have to replace the battery in my sister-in-law's car, and as she does only short runs and the battery has died twice already, the RAC advised her to get a new one. Can anyone tell me which original make/model of battery is installed in a 2005 BMW 320 Petrol Saloon? Should I buy a genuine BMW battery, which I suspect would just be a badged battery, or get a Bosch 067/096 or Varta equivalent? Would it affect the resale price?
