  Hello The car a silver peugeot 207 has just come back from its MOT which it passed first time however it has been given an advisory notice which says 'Play nearside & offside steering rack arm' what does that mean do I need to be worried?

  I have owned the above car from new since 2005 and it has covered just over 35,000 miles and been serviced by an Independent Peugeot Garage. Within the last couple of weeks I find that on switching the engine off a continuing whirring noise emanates from the engine and lasts for 6 secs approx. The garage informs me that the fly wheel is at fault and that I can expect a repair of £800.What is your opinion Garnet

  The front door of my Peugeot is locked (other doors and boot can be opened).  Have taken it to the garage but they are unable to remove the door card without cutting through it.  A new one will cost £378 and the cost of repairing if problem is as suspected will be £208.

  Anyone out there able to explain to me the minefield that is coil packs on peugeots? I have a 306 with a duff pack and need to know what to do about it. it has happened to me before, about a year ago, i replaced the coil pack with one from the scrappers and it was fine, but now it is gone again.

  Consequently the folding mechanism motor is broken and the mirror is being held on with tape! Peugeot have quoted a very large amount for a new one to be fitted. buying one online is much cheaper, but I am wondering if anyone has experience of fitting a wing mirror on this car and any instructions on how to do so, or where to find the information on this.

  Hi All, My battery recently went flat on my Peugeot 306. It is a relatively new battery so I took it out and charged it. I have put it back in but now when I try to start the car the engine won't turn over. I've tried disconnection and reconnecting the alarm system (under the rear seat behind the driver) but this made no difference.

  Good Morning I have a peugeot diesel 1.9 lx d (not hdi) I have had air in the fuel system and when I try to prime to remove the air it looks like the primer bulb is leaking or near it, I assume I need to remove the bulb but are unsure how to do this.

  My 53 plate peugeot 406 LX Estate recently started suffering battery charge fault warning on the dash, then ABS and Airbag warning respectively then the car gives up and conks oot ! had the alternator reconned and also new battery but its still doing it???

  Car - Peugeot 306 D Turbo HDI. Hello there, The alternator has failed on my car and my father and I are having great difficulty in accessing a particular bolt. The belt has been removed. The said bolt is hard up against the tensioner pulley.

  Hi, I just had to change the near side headlight of my peugeot 307 because the old one's bracket had broken so it was not attached properly. Now the people at the MOT garage have said (after £60 labour) that there is no kick up on the headlight (ie the beam is flat).

  I have a 2003 peugeot 307 and the air con and blowers/fans have stopped working! Checked fuses and behind the air con switch for any loose connections. Any ideas before i take it to a garage? Should i get air con topped up which i doubt would be the problem as the fans don't work when air con is switched off.

  hi my wifes 307cc 2.0hdi 136bhp 06 36000miles reqs a 3rd turbo .warrenty finished in april so i could be facing a big bill .spoke to customer service , but because we are the 2nd owner ,and last service not done at a peugeot dealer could have problem with a claim . what can i do apart from bit the bullet and have it done . or fight pug .help please

  Cars being what they are today, it's laminated ,heat reflecting glass with light and wiper sensors installed. The car is only two years old and I'd like to get it done through a Peugeot dealer, so there can be do arguments about honouring the warranty if problems arise. Any tips on dealing with the insurance company. I suspect they use the cheapest firm available.

  Hi, I got up this morning with an extremely fuzzy head, couldn't think straight at all. I go into my P Reg Peugeot 106 (with the annoying immobiliser keypad), turned the electrics on and proceded to enter the wrong code 3 times in a row and it's locked me out. Is there any way of resetting the keypad so I can enter the right code?

  Peugeot 306 D-Turbo 1997 phase 2. Hi there, I'm looking at ways of getting a bit more power out of my car without altering the turbo. I have already fitted a K & N air filter which has made no noticeable difference, although fuel consumption has improved.

  pls can anyone advise me of the size of battery a peugeot 306 key fob takes. also if the led does not flash does that mean its broken. How can i test if my Infa red key fob works. it does not unlock my doors but all the doors open when the key is used.

  My car is a Peugeot 406 2.0hdi 110bhp. At the weekend I drove through a number of floods faster than I should have, and I now struggle to select gears. Randomly, when I select gears, it feels as if the gear stick wont push fully into the gear I want.

  Hi I wonder if any one could tell me how to bleed a Bosch Diesel pump on a 1994 Peugeot 306 TD as the Haynes manual is a bit sketchy It says about a bleed nipple on the pump but I am unable to find one so any help would be great as I wish to change the fuel filter and will need to bleed the system Thanks Neil slienced shouting !
