  i have replaced the high pressure pump and crankshaft sensor but no joy, the injectors and low pressure pump are ok, please help its driving me mad!

  Hi All, I'm having a problem with my van Nissan Primstar 06'. When i am driving at speeds of between 80 - 100 kph the temperture gauge shoots up to the max. The red warning light comes on, and the altenator/engine sign. Do you think this will be expensive to fix? Should i get ready for a large bill?

  Hi am wondering if any one can help me, am currently driving a mini, and am now having to up date my car to something that can toe a horse box but I have no idear where to start am only 25 and don't want a huge car(4x4) but something big enough to pull and also need something economical has anyone any suggestions

  Was driving home when car began to judder to a stop, & cut out.  Have had the Cam & crank sensors changed & a new fuel filter.  There is pressure at the injectors but they are not opening.

  Handbrake fully on when parked and still on when it had hit the other car. Handbrake actually had to be released to drive the Vectra away after the accident. Are Vauxhall liable ?? DVD (and others): your comments please!!

  The other day the battery light came on when I was driving a Focus diesel.  I drove it to a garage and sorted it out. The question occurred to me later - how far could I have driven it? Once you've started a diesel you don't need a battery to supply a spark, do you?

  Noticed a small white disc in the window of the Air Cadet minibus that I sometimes drive the other day. None of the other squadron staff understand what 'priviledges', if any, it gives us. It's a Transport Act 1985 Section 19 Permit Vehicle, with the title of Small Bus Disc. Does this mean we can use bus lanes?

  Hi, I've got problems with my Clio losing power and becoming gutless after driving fine for a few miles. It's an intermittant problem as sometimes it's ok but when the problem occurs it's not just mildly, it's totally gutless. It's a turbo diesel engine. Any ideas, thanks.

  I have had a test drive in this model & have arranged to buy a Demo model from a Main Dealer. On starting the engine from cold there was a loud Whisteling noise from the engine compartment. The salesman did not think anything of it.

  I am unconvinced by the left foot braking technique on autos. i have been driving autos for many years and have tried the left foot but i feel it is far less controlable than the right foot. A bit of research on the net has found that many people don't feel comfortable with it.

  Hi My girlfriend has just received a £30 parking ticket where she lives outside her drive way. There isn't a residential parking scheme where you have a permit. If she's not working that day, she has to move her car so she doesn't get a ticket. Can anyone help or explain how the council can do this?

  Some days my car sounds like a an old stye diesel lorry  {clatter ,clatter} when I put my down as I accelarate up through the gears. Other days it as quiet as the petrol car I used to drive. I'm new to diesels having always driven petrol models, is this  something that is normal to diesels. There is 28K on the clock

  Hi I have just bought a 2001 Peugeot 206 1.4LX and driven it for the 2nd time this morning, i was driving quite normally when a red STOP sign came on the dash!!!  Im panic striken, could this be somethign trivial like oil or water levels or is it something serious? I dont have a man to ask!!!
