  Hi My wife has just come back and told me that her friend crashed our car whilst my wife was giving her a driving lesson.   Hi, I am thinking of buying a Laguna Coupe - 5 years old - 33k - 3 previous owners. Everything looks ok. Slight concern following test drive - feels a bit sluggish between 3rd/4th/5th gears although nothing dramatic. Also, oil looks a bit dirty and water in bottle is a bit 'tea coloured'.  Also, not completely sure but it only has one exhaust pipe which does not look like the original and only one - the versions from 2010 have two - does anyone know whether the 2008 model had one or two?

  6 months ago had cam sensor replaced folloiwng EML coming on. Had no problems for 6 months and then had trouble starting the car and cutting out whilst driving. When cut out did start again pretty much straight away however driving has been very jerky and feels like no power in getting up to speed. The car has since failed to start at all now however we removed the crank shaft sensor, started ignition and car started straight away.

  I have 2.0. Hdi engines in another C5 and a 406 both of which with my very gentle style of driving will exceed 60 mpg, the best I consumption I have had form the 2.2 was 49 mpg at a steady 60 mph on the motorway but it only averages about 40 mpg or less. I have cleaned the EGR and MAF to no effect and even fitted a tuning box in an attempt to increase mpg, it didn't, did increase the performance markedly though, but I'm not interested in that, I drive mostly at no more than 60 mph or 2000 rpm.

  It will loss power like a wind up toy is getting to the end!!! Then it will stall. I restart, and it does the same. While driving, the power dips, the lights dim and it kangaroos. Its getting worse. In a 10 min drive, I stalled 15 times!! It feels like it is losing revs. When I slow down, the power dips, if I try to speed up, it dips.

  hi guys, im just wondering if anyone of you have encountered this type of noise when driving.   Im currently driving a honda crv 2004 auto transmission. What bugs me is when i drive the vehicle theres this high pitch sound dependent to the speed. Lets say it usually happens between 20-40 kph and goes off as soon as you take off your foot from the gas pedal and as soon as it gets beyond 40kph.

  Sorry if this has been discussed before but I'd appreciate anyone input. I have a leather seated 2003 Vx Omega auto thats crippling me in the lower back region when I drive. Sitting statically in the seat seems ok but drive half a mile and I can feel an ache coming on then I start having to shift round in the seat all the time and fidgeting. Its making me miserable as I had no problems with a previous cars (except a Citroen Saxo which gave similar pain) and the trouble started teh same day I picked the car up.

    However I took the car for its 9th annual service to the same vauxhall dealer, who informed me that both front drive shafts are worn & noisy and would need replacing asap as there would be a safety risk if the driveshafts failed when the car would be driven at speed.  At the moment, there is only a slight clicking noise from the front wheels when the car is driven forwards, but when turning corners, I can hear the clunking noises from the wheels.

  I do about 25000 miles a year, mostly motorways, but with a bit of A road thrown in - and a bit of city driving. Gut feeling is telling me that the 2.0 will be kinder with MPG when I want to push on a bit(?). Ofcourse I should drive one, but awkward with it being a fleet buy, and without a proper drive on a run-in motor, not sure it would really help.
