so far I have replaced a lambda sensor and fitted a blanking plate to rule out egr valve problem and put redex in with the latest fuel fill up the symptoms are stalling when slowing down erratic driving sometimes losing power completely and car goes into limp mode (pretty scary when you are on the motorway) fuel gauge suddenly drops before the erratic behaviour then goes up again. -

Callled AA and he checked then started the car ok albeit sounded alittle hesitant, AA said could be too much fuel due to a short start and stop on drive etc and then left??? (no we did not do this) AA said Jags had a problem like this??? AA left and the car was road tested ok and all things appear to work Elect/mech etc. -
