What car to convert to LPG?

I drive 20k miles per year, mostly motorway and am looking for an estate car that is suitable for conversion to LPG (most of the service stations along my usual routes stock LPG). Can you recommend a good buy, i.e. a car with good petrol fuel economy that has a full size spare wheel well and is straightforward to convert?

I like the size of the Mondeo but heard that the Ford engines are not suitable for conversion due to an issue with the engine valves.
