  There's an ad on LBC (and presumably other radio stations) with what sounds like a Rally navigator but turns out to be school run Mum dropping the brat off. The pace notes tell you to "mind the leaves" and "watch for puddle" - why? Can't the Audi's "legendary" 4WD system cope with a puddle and a few leaves? What an own goal!

  I recently bought a Audi A3 Sportback sport model on a 60 plate, however there are differences between the previous sport model that I had on a 05 plate, one difference being the previous model had twin exhausts, is it because the model I have now is a stanadard model with a sport upgrade package.

  Hi i have an audi a4 1.8 estate adr engine it will not idle when cold,it stalls when stopped at traffic lights ,the fuel consumption is really high i have tried a new maf sensor but no change the fault codes i have are as follows 17953,17967,01165,16486,17913 any help would be appreciated thanks paul .

    EDIT: Also, as a second question, how is the backroom compared to a Golf V in terms of space? I read somwhere that the Audi is pretty small in the back

  Hence, if you install a handsfree car kit to an Audi and re-use/piggyback-off the stereo power supply that the battery will drain and eventually go flat. Thanks, Gordon

  My 2 liter diesel Audi had Manifold flaps replaced a couple of months ago, however there is a fault on the Fan control circuit, in that thye fan won't turn on. The car's brain apparently switches the fan on, but the fan doesn't operate..

  Just seen a brand new A4, very nice too, in that dull way that Audis are. But what a size, it was parked next to a Volvo S80 and was at least as big. And Audi do A6s and A8s as well which, presumably, are each a size up again.

  Does anybody know if you can fit snow chains to an Audi A6 Avant (02 plate) with 215/55R16 tyres on a 7J rims My manual says you can (with chains protruding less than 15mm) Audi Customer Services say you cannot - but they recommended fitting a new set of larger profile tyres (225 vs 215) and then it would be OK (???!

  I was trawling through the catalogues of upcoming auctions. There are plenty of upmarket BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches etc. But Audis are conspicuously absent. Does Audi have a closed disposal channel ? Is there some other explanation for this ? Or is it just a fluke ? Thanks

  Bit of a cheeky request, but I am currently looking at: Audi A4 Avant 2.0 143 D, SE 59' 2009 with 61k. Silver. Multitronic. Leather and nav options. Average condition. Audi A4 Avant 2.0 143 D, S Line, 09' 2009 with 89k. grey. Manual. Clean condition. Wisebuyers reckons £8500 trade for the S Line with 89k.

    I can't help thinking this problem would not exist at all if it were not for Audi's design of damped flywheel and fell aggrieved at having to pay a huge sum for their design flaw. I'd like to write and complain and try and get them to cough up the full value, but who too, the controlling group of Teeside Audi, Teeside itself, or to Audi UK.

  Hi I've got about £10k to spend and want an Audi A3, I do about 15k miles PA and want to know, if you take out the running costs which A3 Engine is the most reliable out of the 1.4 TFSI Petrol, 1.6 TDI or 2.0 TDI?   Also is there anything to look out for when looking at A3 which could be a bad sign?

  Hi all, wonder if anyone can help? My Audi A1 (21K milage) has a washer fluid warning light which came on at the weekend. I've topped up right to the top but the light wont go away. When I recheck it is still full so don't think there is a leak anywhere.
