  Is this the result of aftermarket electrics being fitted badly or something, as ive not seen such a thing on any Audi before, let alone a fairly modern one.

  Hello Folks, I've just been reading a motoring magazine in which it suggested that VW/Audi FSI/TFSI engines should be run on high octane fuel. It claims that using regular unleaded will cause running or starting problems. Anyone got any ideas on this. I always thought it was only high performance cars that benefited from this?.

  hi just bought an audi A4 1.6 p plate was not runnin very good would sometimes cut out or revs would rise if sittin out of gear since then it has cut out and wont restart any ideas wot it could be ? when tryin to start car it trys but just wont kick in could it be fuel pump ?

  Hi. I have an audi a2 1.4 tdi which has a 'misfire' above 2500 revs. It sort of cuts in and out under hard accelaration. Also, the glow plug light flashes and the fuel guage doesn't work and I wondered if there was any conection.

  I have a 2001 mercedes c class coupe 2 litre 16 v with a full Merc service history 43k miles,Iam being offered a 2003 Audi A6 1.8 T from a main dealer with 40k miles and al the belts etc done. should I TAKE UP THIS DEAL?

  I've got an S-reg Audi A3 1.8T 3dr, and having put the driver's seat forward one day, it won't go back into place again. The rear of the seat clicks upright, but the entire seat rises up (as when you try to put it forward), and won't stay down.

  Hi Folks, I would be grateful if anyone could answer the following Questions? Where you can find the pollen filter on an Audi A3 - 98 1.6 model- that has air conditioning?? Would a pollen filter that has not been changed mean the car is liable to the windows steaming up?? How easy is it to change the pollen filter? in the A3 is this a DIY job ?

  How can I tell for sure if air conditioning is working on a brand new Audi A3?? Nothing technical please (because I amn't :) ) The reason I ask, is that it steams up, and no other car with aircon I've had (or indeed the previous A3) ever did. Any help appreciated, otherwise it's a 4 hour round trip to the nearest dealer :( Thanks in advance Stewart

  I set the temp to LO and fan to full, but I just dont think the air out of the vents is as icy cold as it should be. Is it likely that the system needs re-gassing after only 2 years ? Or is the Audi aircon compressor just a bit puny ?

  I seem to recall that there is a jack socket in the glove box where a generic MP3 player can be plugged in. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? as the Audi site is a bit poor on the details of the equipment. Cheers

  Hello, Has anyone any experience of fitting the Audi CD changer? I want to fit one on my 98 A4 - it has the concert stereo, and I am led to believe that the wiring for the multi changer is already installed through to the boot somewhere as it was a dealer fit option.

  10 days ago a senior colleague took delivery of a brand new Audi A6 (paid for with his own money). On the day of collection it broke down with an electrical fault and had to be recovered to the dealer. So far it has spent 6 days in the workshops (he did have it back for 3 days, but it broke down again).

  Can anybody help? I have a '98 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro, 78,000 miles. Engine started misfiring on 1 cylinder. Took into garage and they say oil and water is mixing. They took the head off and valves/seals showing some signs of wear but they also think there is a piston problem potentially.
