Most of the time if stopped at a junction, to move off there is a delay of a second or two. Recently, on two occassions whilst moving, drive is lost almost and the neutral light on the dashboard flashes whilst the drive light is also illuminated. Any ideas please? thanks -
Ice on the footpath 10 Feb 2012 (Forum)
Neighbour decided to clean his car today (of all days!!) and because of the lie of the land the water runs down and across his drive and across the footpath outside my house. The water has frozen into a sheet of ice across the whole footpath outside my house and my drive crossing and cannot be avoided by pedestrians without going into the road. -

Mk 6 Ford Fiesta Saloon 2003 - Door Mirror 12 Aug 2011 (Forum)
Hi, I have a Spanish registered left hand drive Fiesta with a damaged manual door mirror on the passenger (right hand) side. They seem to be considerably cheaper to buy in UK, and they look just the same, but does anyone know if a mirror for a right hand drive car will fit OK ie, can it be angled in far enough to be seen from the drivers seat? -

SEAT Ibiza SC - Seat Ibiza Automatic 19 Jul 2010 (Forum)
Has anyone any experience of the new Saet Automatics. My mother in law who is 82 has just bought one and finds when drive is engaged if the car is on any sort of slope it rolls backwards until the accelerator pedal is depressed a short way. This causes her a problem on a sloped drive. Any automatics I have driven always take up the moment you release the break. -
Photo Licence and Car hire 2 Jan 2010 (Forum)
Hi I recently applied for a photo driving licence, mainly as an easy to carry form of id to carry in the USA. As part of the proceedure I was required to return my paper driving licence. I am now slightly concerned as I usually hire a car when visiting Spain, and am reading about companies requesting a paper couterpart as proof of a 'clean' licence. -

Hi all, when I'm driving I get a terrible droning noise from the front, when I turn the steering wheel to the left the noise seems to stop but its there when I drive and turn right. Is it the wheel bearings? I've had 2 new tyres fitted and the noise was there before. -
Renault Laguna II (2001 - 2007) - 01 1.8 Water pump help please 8 Sep 2009 (Forum)
Hi, I'm having a replacement camblet fitted and would like to know if the cambelt 'drives' the waterpump on this car. If it does, I'll get it replaced along with the cambelt, if it doesn't then there is no need I guess. I've heard conflicting views if they belt drives the water pumo so i'd really like your input. -
Jaguar - Saw the new XJ 2 Sep 2009 (Forum)
It was the new XJ (on a 58-reg plate), doing a steady 90mph. Looks great - purposeful with a hint of agression. If it drives as well as it looks, Jag will do well. -
Car crash suicide bid: 18 mth jail sentence 14 Aug 2009 (Forum)
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/6004402/Tory-politicians-wife-in-botched-suicide-attempt.html Whilst I do not condone driving whilst drunk, nor driving on the wrong side of the road, nor the injuries caused to the other party, I am not sure that the world is improved by sending her - expensively - to gaol. A good dose of community service and some counselling I think. -
