  hi all i have just bought a 2006 mazda 6 diesel at auction and on the way home found that i have a lack of power car sounds great no leaks no smoke etc problem is i get to about 3000 rpm and dont seem to have any more power as if the turbo isnt boosting does anyone know what is causing this thanks

  I've recently purchased a mazda 3, 100k - Ocassionally say every 2-3 mins on a longer stretch of road at a constant speed there will be a momentary lack of power.   Almost feels like light braking momentarily but it's definately not.

  Hi Hoping someone here can help. I bumped my silver Mazda 2 against a bollard. (at very low speed) And now it appears to have a few light scratches. Whats the best  (and cheap) way to remove them without going to a garage, or buying a buffing machine?

  I recently bought a mark3 launch edition MX5 and had the Mazda dealer put new tyres on the back.He used a make I hadn't heard of - 'Federal' - and now I appear to have now grip in the wet with the back end sliding allover the place with minimal provocation. I am going to ask him to substitute them - any ideas what I should ask for ?

  I've just fitted a Bosal towbar on my 2003 Mazda 323F. I just need to know where I pull the electrics (12N, 7pin) from? Is there a junction box hidden in the car somewhere for the towbar electrics or do I just tap from the feeds to the rear lights?

  I'm in need of a new engine for a mazda 6 td2L after a catastophic faliure of the last one. But do I get a 2nd hand engine or a reconditioned one?? Anything that I should look out for or be asking when talking to dealers? Any advise on this would be very welcome.

  Just purchased a 5W/30 Fully synthetic oil for my 2000 Mazda 323 Diesel Turbo. The recommended oil according to the handbook is 10W/30 (I guess that is a Mineral oil). There was no lubrication guide at the store so I am now wondering if I have picked up the right oil?

  I was wondering what the BR's experiences of the Mazda 6 are, as I have read on a couple of reviews (online) that there has been some issues with the model, and wondered if these were just one-offs, as the car seems to perform well in JD power and Top Gear surveys...I would be considering a model out of warranty which is the reason for my concerns...

  The handbrake on our Mazda 323 is very poor and will hardly hold the car on a hill. It's been in to a local independant a couple of times and although it has improved a little it's still not right. (Mechanic says it's a 'poor design').

  My mums mazda mx5 overheated in traffic yesterday and after getting the AA guy out he concluded that the Fan control Switch was broken. This meant that the fan never came on when it was suppose to and thats why it overheated.

  The battery failed on my Mazda 626 the other day, I replaced it and now she starts and runs well apart from tickover which seems to be lower, you can come upto a junction and the engine will die, shell starts up straight away , but the tickover is now lumpier since the battery change .

  Ive been reading about this nice Mazda RX8, and the reports keep refering to it as a 1.3 rotary engine. So it got me wondering, I know the new ones will be taxed on co2 emissions, but the older ones like the RX7 - would they be classed as a 1.3 on the log book and qualify for the under 1500cc road tax discount?

  Hello I've just brought a mazda 323 glx v6 94 m with 74000 miles picked the car up on tuesday 28/5/02 and on 1/6/02 the abs light has come on while driving, drivers side outer driveshaft gaitour has come off and the aircon matrix is leaking a green fluid,the car was brought from a used car garge in bicester, what can i do.
