Mazda 2 - Removing scratches - maxley

Hi

Hoping someone here can help.

I bumped my silver Mazda 2 against a bollard. (at very low speed)

And now it appears to have a few light scratches.

Whats the best (and cheap) way to remove them without going to a garage, or buying a buffing machine?

Thanks guys

They're not light scratches, they're deep gouges. I reckon you'll not polish them out.

I suggest you either live with them (what are bumpers for?) or it's a professional jobbie.

Yeah looks like its down to the metal... there's a decent website www.autobodycompare.com that'll get you estimates for the work!

Good luck!

You could have this cosmetically repair to where you couldn't see it without the whole bumper being sprayed instead it would be flatted filled primed spayed with the spray being blended in. there is a company called chips away they are located all over the country they are fully mobile and mix the paints specifically to you paint code. Google them and they should be able to give you a number for a guy in your location hope this helps.
