• BMW 1 Series - vibration suspension tired 30 Oct 2019 (Forum)
    I arrived very refreshed at my destination. This is my main goal. I want the same experience from a replacement car.  What is BMW doing to their suspension or ride comfort? What do I need to look for a in a replacement car?  Is this experience unique to the BMW? When I read reviews, of BMW keep saying BMW has hard suspension, but that sounds very uncomfortable?

  I'm leaning towards the Zoe but does anyone think the Leaf or the i3 would be a better option. My budget is around 10000 which im guessing might disqualify the BMW. Appreciate any replies..

  Daughter's recent acquisition and reporting intermittent steering sympton of sudden snatch to the left. Car has been test-diven by BMW staff who found nothing wrong but the problem still persists. Any ideas would be most welcome.

  I seem to have a problem trying to reset the trip mileage on my BMW - the manual says place they key in position 1 and press the left button and nothing happens -  I have tried this many times  - what could the problem be and is it a common fault?

  I cant decide which to buy between these 2. BMW E46 323i or Mitsubishi Galant V6-24 both are auto's and year 2000 models. I like the look of both cars but the Mitsi is cheaper than the Beemer. Enyone got advice or which do you prefer.

  Does anybody out there know of a 'fix' to allow the BMW cd player to play a selection of songs cd compiled from my pc please? The unit only seems to play official pre-recorded albums.

  Hi, Hope you guys can help. I just brought a BMW 316 1991 4dr Auto, my headlights gon ebut I can't open the bonnet. The nearside of the bonnet seems to come loose but the offside seems to be stuck. Is there anyway I can get in there without taking i to a garage?

  Over last few days I have seen well into double figures of the new shape 7 series, all 06 reg or newer, including one 07. I havent seen any of these for ages, has BMW released a load of "ex management "cars into the dealers? Has there been a sudden drop in prices for them? Just curious!

  Hi I am intending to get my BMW 5 series 2000 V serviced at an independent garage - is it possible to reset the service indicator yourself? I have a friend with a 1999 Mercedes C-class who reset the service light by pushing the trip computer button in a certain series of ways.

  HI gents, a small problem with my mates BMW 328 i cc system, when on demist function set to clear windscreen the fan speed seems to have a mind of its own and will vary the speed of the air flow, yet the syetem is set to manual mode. Can anybody help.

  The door seal rubber on my 93 318iS has started to harden and I now start to get some wind noise above 60. BMW quote over £100:00 for a replacement. I have looked at other parts sources,but cannot find another supplier. Doea anyone know of a way to resolve this at a reasonable price?

  HI, Can anyone comment on why a BMW N reg 320i manual keeps kicking out of third gear when under acceleration? (It can still be held in third by hand when it happens). Happens every 3 or 4ish days. Any ideas on problem and expense? Thank you.

  Returned to BMW and demonstrated that the driver side stops 1cm short. The seat is faulty. I've been left now with no car as it is sat at the service centre until Monday when they will “try again” with BMW. Anyone had any issues with this or have any help!?
