Save your £15, you can reset it with a piece of wire. You need to jump/bridge/short (don't know what you call it in the UK) two terminals in the diagnostic port. As has been mentioned there are lots of websites with pictures/diagrams showing you how to do it, and they work, reset mine twice now.

Had a quick look and found this page. Can't get it much simpler than that. The page mentions building a special jump with with resistors etc, and I suppose that would be safer, but I just used one of the leads from my multimeter tester.
