  After reading the about the Mazda 6 Diesel, does anyone know if the same engine is in the 3, both the 1.6 & 2.0 guise. Any info pertaining to the Mazda 3 2 or 1.6 diesel engine would be useful, i.e belt driven or chain, has it got dpf, does it use Eolsys (?

  This morning while travelling on the A14 I spotted a Mazda 6 driver in the middle lane, following an HGV rather too closely. The Mazda 6 was being tailgated by another HGV. I wouldn't want to have been in the Mazda!!!

  hi I was considering 2 cars , 1 is a 2008 6 mazda 6 owned by a company with full service history and 86,000 miles 2.0d ts2. the second is a mazda 6 2009 with slightly more mileage and 1 owned private. its a 2.2 diesel.   Could anyone recommend with one or either?

  About to start looking into extending my Mazda's warranty. I've had good experiance with Genesis but since I got the car new I'm interested in keeping the Mazda warranty going. Before I speak to the dealer, anyone got an idea of price, does it cover the same as the factory warranty?

  Had if for a year and a half, disappointed would be an understatement. just out of warranty for last 6 months They said they will speak to Mazda as i have had all service history at Mazda since I got it (1.5 years ago). Problem is before that the service was not at Mazda so doubt anything will come of it, That's what the guy on the phone from Mazda was hinting at.

  Hi all Looking at buying a used post 2015 mazda 3 saloon soon. Cargiant and the likes is one option, Mazda approved from dealerships is the other (I try to avoid private sellers as I'm not really car savvy and don't know how to go about that). Looking at the various google reviews from the Mazda dealers, most of the reviews seem kind of sketchy.

  Hi, how long does it take for a mazda 6 2.2diesel to regenerate the dpf. I do 22 miles a day to and bck from work, mostly around town. In total i do about 140miles a week. Will this be enough to keep the DPF issue at bay.  I really do like the Mazda 2.2d 2009, and i am thinking of buying one with 68k on the clock.

  I PURCHASED THE ALL NEW MAZDA CX5 IN jUNE THIS YEAR. IT WAS IN THE NEW COLOUR SOUL RED METALLIC.  3 MONTHS LATER I HAVE AN ACCIDENT RESULTING IN THE NEED FOR A NEW REAR VALANCE ,TAILGATE AND REAR LIGHT. THE MAZDA APPROVED DEALER CANNOT REPAIR THE CAR BECAUSE THE COLOUR PAINT IS NOT YET BEING PRODUCED.

  Having seen how much trouble these seem to be causing backroomers, should I expect the same issues with a Mazda engine? Or do Mazda sensibly use their own pump and injectors?
