• Lexus GS300 -2007 - Headlight issue with Lexus GS300 17 Apr 2015 (Forum)
  Just wondering if any other lexus owners have experienced this issue with their GS300. When I turn on my headlights both headlights work, after driving for about 3-5 mins the nearside headlight goes off.If I turn them off and on the light comes back on but will go out again in about 2 mins.If I turn off and on again for a third time, the light goes on again but this time it will stay on for the length of my journey.

  Has any one fitted a tow bar to a Lexus 400h. I always understood that because of the drive motors and battery it was not possible to do this but my Lexus dealer tells me that it is possible to do.  Has any one fitted one and what did it cost, what is the 400h like to tow with as I have a 16 foot caravan.

  Lexus delers accept that the problem exists and have replaced the flywheel and clutch assembly twice, but the problem persists. Has anyone else had this problem?

  i am about to leave my lexus rx400h at an airport for 2 weeks and i am told that it is commonplace to return and find the battery flat.i gather that the auxillery battery is only small but with the amount of "kit" on these cars the battery flattens quickly.i am also told that there is no bigger replacement battery that will fit this model.can you offer any advice.the dealers dont seem to be able to help and the lexus owners club correspondence indicates that lexus dont want to know.one of the reasons i bought the car was because of the rave reviews by "honest john"incidentally i agree with his views on the car but i see this as a really annoying potential drawback to the car.

  I bought the following item off amazon, it has plenty of good reviews, yet i can't get it to connect to my lexus. I tried a friends toyota, and same thing!  I am using a laptop with windows 7.   The Lexus LS400 is a very nice car and I would like one but scanning through autotrader the cheapest examples are around £4,000 and for that you get a 10 year old car with 130k ish on the clock. Good but way overpriced in the current market would you not agree?

    So say total cost of the Lexus would be c.£12.5k.  BUT with the Lexus it would have a value of, say, £5k after three years - so total costs c.£12.5k - 5k = c. £7.5k. I realise that these are rather different cars - the Astra more practical, the Lexus more luxurious.

  We live in a rural area and have 2 cars : a 1L Yaris for short journeys and a 6 year old Lexus 200D for longer journeys.  We get ~46mpg from the Lexus (on the meter). I am thinking of changing the Lexus for a CT200h but I'm not sure that this will give me any fuel savings.

  This seems quite low for a diesel or will it improve as the car is run in. Lexus claim a much higher urban MPG Any experience or comments thanks alan
