Lexus LS400

Lexus LS400 - Thommo
The Lexus LS400 is a very nice car and I would like one but scanning through autotrader the cheapest examples are around £4,000 and for that you get a 10 year old car with 130k ish on the clock.

Good but way overpriced in the current market would you not agree?

Probably means that you can pick one up for £3500 in this market. Seems OK if it's been looked after and used well.

Unfortunately, nobody buys a Lexus for the weekly trip to church and the shops - they're almost invariably high mileage directors' cars. However, they do last extremely well, so 130k is not unreasonable.

Of course, with any big barge, you're going to risk more expensive parts and I don't know what the independent specialists are like with Lexus compared to Mercedes or BMW.

Most (not all) are mint. Just make sure it's in a dark colour or silver, has lots of history, and doesn't have any nasty gold badges or other tackiness about it.

Fantastic car,if you are buying a cheaper older one just be very careful checking it out,make sure all the toys work,make sure it drives very quitely,and very smoothly and make sure its been maintained properly.The right car is super.
