Too much street furniture? 8 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Does anyone else feel that there is a plethora of (unnecessary?) signs these days which are both distracting and make it difficult to distinguish the important from the trivial ones? -
car supermarket = car paperwork? 30 Nov 2003 (Forum)
Having, about a month ago, bought a Ford imported from Spain through one of the car supermarkets I was told the car manual and service record paperwork would follow in "some weeks". Anyone had experience of this arriving or not? My dealer can order me the book etc or should I wait? -

Buying new Peugeot 7 Feb 2002 (Forum)
If anyone has had any personal experience with a reputable continental importer who can do Peugeots, and can recomend them, I would appreciate any help. A friend is about to pay full UK price on a new 206, and I thought I would give her the benefit of your opinions. -
Please help with a car decision 19 Feb 2017 (Forum)
Is there anything else we need to be looking at bury mind the husband hasn't got that much patience any more. I probably could get him to look at one or two more cars. What's important to me in the car is they last a long time and is reliable that's very important. I don't need anything too big. I don't need fancy gadgets. I don't want a diesel car. Do you want a smaller engine that's why I'm looking at the 1.4 Honda, this will also keep down my insurance. -
small 6-7 seat MPV - Best used small MPV (£5k - £10k) 4 Aug 2010 (Forum)
While most of the weekday driving is just in town to the shops, etc, we often do 1 - 3 hour trips at the weekend on Scottish motorways and A-roads. Reliability is important (though I recognise that guaranteed reliability of some makes can be a myth, as can unreliability from other makes), safety is important. Fuel economy not so important, but I don't want to lose too much on depreciation, so it'll probably have to be a diesel. -
What to buy 19 Dec 2007 (Forum)
I could remove the front wheel if necessary, as I'll have to do if I go for a Fabia (vRS high on my list) Reliability is important, though with so much motorway driving I never wear anything out. I don't mind paying for a good extra 2 year warranty (this is a car I'll expect to keep for 3 years, maybe more) Fuel choice isn't important. -
Changing - Legacy to Outback 23 Oct 2006 (Forum)

Any - 0 to 60 acceleration 7 Mar 2014 (Forum)
I am interested in people's views on the importance of time taken to accelerate from 0 to 60. Does it make a real difference in situations such as entering roundabouts, entering motorways ? Is it really significant anyhow ? If so what is the maximum time that is acceptable if there is a safety element ? -
DISABILITY CARD 21 Sep 2011 (Forum)
Since the council issue the card it would seem to be a relatively simple matter to verify the expiry date, and if such information is so important it should surely be displayed on both sides of the card. -

Privacy glass. Why? 10 Apr 2008 (Forum)
It ruins the look of the car and serves no purpose. I remember when it signified that you had a car that was imported from Japan. Anyone care to explain why this is becoming increasingly popular. -
Renault Megane Coupe 22 May 2006 (Forum)
Have had a price of £14,500 for a new Megane coupe Dynamique that has been imported from Cyprus. Is this value for money? Is there anything that I should be aware of, any pit falls on this deal? I have been told by the salesman that it has a full 3-year British warranty - is this true?
