Citroen Berlingo Multispace (1998 - 2010) - 01 1.9 DW8 diesel lacking power 2 Dec 2009 (Forum)
Hi Berlingo diesel DW8. Drives OK at low speeds and drives OK if it's pushed. However, around mid revs the engine seems to lack a little power. It feels like a flat spot, is this normal? Of more concern, if driving down the motorway at about 50-60mph and you ease off the power the engine feels very "jumpy". -
Re-sitting the driving test 19 Oct 2009 (Forum)
Should it affect the insurance rating /costs to insure As in I am suggesting that there are those driving at the very limit of their abilities, despite having passed the test I appreciate that there are also who suffer from "nerves" thus being competent /good drivers DESPITE requiring multiple attempts to pass their test food for thought M {made non make / model specific. -

Help. Am I getting old? 18 Nov 2008 (Forum)
Evening, Taking my boys to school this morning, it came on the radio that around 20% of all children think their parents drive to fast. So, I ask the question. "Do I drive to fast"? The answer was no from both of them so Im sitting there feeling quite good about it. So, the second question then comes out "Do I drive to slow"? -

Foreign car and headlights 21 Aug 2006 (Forum)
Hi All, I'm an expat Brit who will be driving back to Blighty in a month or 3. I would fly, but driving is more attractive just now, and I can fit more Tesco and M&S goodies in the car then in hold baggage... :-) Anyway, I digress... In the UK, are beam deflectors compulsory or recommended for left hand drive vehicles? -
Driving while disqualified - penalties? 6 Apr 2006 (Forum)
But, the bench heard, he would not give a second specimen later at the police station. He has now been caught driving while disqualified, and obviously no insurance. What sort of punishment could he expect? best and worst case scenarios, please. -
Scenic II brakes 28 Oct 2005 (Forum)
Apologies for all the queries on my car but going in for service on friday and want to get anything done that I should. I don't drive the car often, usually SWMBO drives it. However I have been driving it this week purely to check if there is any issues. I have noticed that the brakes are very "snatchy" ie the pedal seems to travel quite a bit and then it suddently bites. -

Dim dip headlights 24 Jan 2005 (Forum)
I was thinking back the other day about the late 80's when dim-dip technology was introduced (preventing side light driving by switching on dipped beam at half voltage?). Does anyone know why this was discontinued? I have noticed many new cars driving around on tiny front side lights. Perhaps it will come back into discussion with possible future Euro rules on dipped headlights permanently switched on. -
Driving In Snow 9 Dec 2004 (Forum)
Ok, so these are conditions that they have for about 5 months of the year, and they are used to them, but it proved to me that it is possible to drive in snow with no problems. I'm not looking forwards to the chaos that will ensue here when the first snow drops fall this year. -
How many backroomers drive automatics? 30 Sep 2004 (Forum)
It was this that convinced me of the benefits of an automatic - though I haven't succumbed to buying that hat (yet!). So how many BR's regularly drive automatics? -
Nissan Speedometer 11 Oct 2001 (Forum)
Could anyone kindly advise re this problem and where I should start on a repair ? I assume that the speedo is electronic as I cannot trace a drive cable. Where might the drive/pick up be for this type of speedo (auto gearbox)? Also, is the drive, at the speedo head, a magnetic disc which drags the needle round and could this be where the fault lies ? -
