I have an S-reg Peugeuot 306 and have had regular problems with the remote keys. Sometimes the batteries last a few months, sometimes a few days. The problem appears to be that after the buttons on the key fob are pressed and then released, the contact with the battery is not properly broken -
old cheap + fast... 19 Apr 2001 (Forum)
I am looking to get rid of my '87 Golf and get something early 90's and cheap. Really looking for something big and fast with lots of toys. At the moment I am considering a '92/'93 Vauxhall Senator 24V as they seem to go for around £1500 in loot. This seems incredibly cheap to me, anyone got any -
LJK Obits and more 21 Oct 2005 (Forum)
produced reactionary corporate conservatism, yet today?s vehicle strategy and design culture needs fresh perspectives, analysis and solutions. , but it is strange. It?s bigger than I expected, but it seems to have huge slab-like sides. It seems like a lot of metal. I thought at first it looked like a Sierra, but in retrospect I think it looks like an Omega. When I first got in there were two main impressions; Firstly, it is very spacious inside. Width -

and despite gross underfunding manage to produce a good car. I am including the BAperiod here. I sold plenty of these in the 90’s and not a problem was had and if you look up period road tests from -
Bring back the Motorshow 13 Aug 2020 (Forum)
Looking through the pages of old car mags I’m finding myself reminiscing over the glamour from the Motor Shows which were common throughout the country in the 80’s and 90’s and the UK national show which died in 2008. My dad bought several cars off stand at the local car show in Ayr, the pinnacle -
What to do with a damaged/repairable van 3 Jan 2018 (Forum)
. The parts needed are a front bumper, n/s headlamp, n/s front wing, inner wing liner, wheel arch trim and lower support beam for the radiator. All of these, including the wing, are bolted or screwed on, so not really that much work. The only actual work needed is where the front wing is attatched -

It seems almost all the local cars go through here - at the point in the pic the Punto has had it`s soapy pressure spray and is waiting for the Gentlemen in the picture (washing the car in front) to hand wash it - then around the bend are a team of three - two men and a woman, who leathered it off -
