• KIA Picanto - CL Fault 27 Jun 2011 (Forum)
  Kia Picanto central locking mechanism is malfunctioning. Drivers door will not open. Remote key raises the knob but it automatically goes down and locks again. I can get into the car by passenger side by using the remote key but all doors instantly relock. What can I do?

  Hi, i have an automatic vectra and everytime i start my engine, the 'CHECK' light on the lcd display comes on. When i press on the brake/clutch pedal it goes out?! Can anyone tell me if this is right or not. The car drives fine and have no problems otherwise.

  - Anyone got any experience of driving the Volvo V70/S60/V50 with the D5 engine and a Geartronic automatic gearbox? I didn't think that diesel torque matched well with an auto box? Is the D5 worth a lot more than the alternative 2.0D lump I can get in a V50? Thanks, N.

  In the Ford Focus, which is the best engine to have. I'm assuming you automatically ditch the 1.6, so a toss up between the 1.8 and the 2.0? In struggling to sort a car out for my wife, we had a drive in a 02 2litre today and I thought it was a bit rough and noisy when revved.

  I've got a P reg, automatic Renault Laguna 3.0 v6, when waiting in traffic or at lights when I pull away the car struggles briefly then is ok. It's as if the acceleration doesn't kick in straight away or the brake is stuck - any ideas what it could be?

  Help - more information on normal functioning of climate control in Fiat Ulysee (identical system to Peugeot 806). Should the climate control switch itself on to automatic every time the engine is started (regardless of whether or not the climate control unit was previously switched off)?

  Can anyone give advice on the following. When using the electronic door locking system on the remote, sometimes the doors lock and automatically unlock. Repeating the process immediately doesn't help but waiting a couple of minutes usually rectifies the problem. Is it something to do with the solenoids? Is it easy to repair? Any advice appreciated.
