Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Hyundai launches i20 Active 15 Sep 2015 (News)
The more powerful 120PS version has a top speed of 114mph, with a 0-62mph time of 10.2 seconds. As you might expect, it's a little less frugal with combined fuel consumption figures of 54.3-56.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 116-121g/km. The ride height is raised by 20mm over the standard i20 Coupe and the wheelarches are clad in robust plastic and feature skid plates at the front and rear to give the appearance of an off-roader. -

The restored and upgraded red car was completely stripped, painted and rebuilt by Trevor Grooms, with a new braking system, rebuilt 3.31 Power-Lok diff, new clutch, fuel pump and fuel lines, rebuilt suspension, new seats and hood. Still all matching numbers, mileage is recorded as 80,806, estimate £78,000 - £80,000. Top British car in the auction is a wonderful 1935 Lagonda M45 Rapide; a 100mph car even in 1935. -

Cars with underinflated tyres suffered from poorer handling and braking performance than those with the correct pressure. Additionally, fuel economy is decreased when driving on underinflated tyres. Overcompensating for low pressures is also a problem, with 14% of cars being driven with at least one overinflated tyre. Overinflated tyres wear unevenly and more quickly. -
London Motorexpo opens June 6th 2 Jun 2011 (News)

Drivers' tyres 'could deflate in winter weather' 10 Jan 2008 (News)
Research from Cooper Tyre Europe show that wheels can deflate by one psi for every ten degree drop in temperature. It adds that this can result in drivers paying more for fuel - some £2.2 million per day in total. As a result, the firm comments that it is a good idea for motorists to keep an eye on the pressure of their tyres, adding that they could check each time they pick up petrol. -
Official complains of 'unbalanced' CO2 legislation 19 Dec 2007 (News)
He commented that he has been disappointed by the regulation put in place, adding that emissions will not simply be reduced by his industry alone but with the help of other drivers, politicians and fuel bodies. Prices start at £10,260, but Citroen is offering a £500 cashback until the end of March pulling the price back to £9,760, which is only a few hundred more than the less well equipped Doblo JTD.
