  Have the chance to buy a June '01 Audi A4 1.9 TDi 130 for around £11500? Would plan on keeping it about 2 years. It's more than I planned to spend on my next car but at that price I'm tempted. Good buy? --

  I've recently had error lights come up on my Audi. 01350 Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 (G235) Short to Plus P0546 Intermittent Is the error code when plugged into snapon device. I've noticed no change in performance of my vehicle and have actually driven a few miles with the fault light.

  After spending a few days narrowing the list down, I have come to a shortlist that includes the Audi and Honda. However,  I cant decide which one I prefer the most and which one I would be happy living with, so thought I would get some opinions. The Honda Accord would be the great 2.2 CDTi in EX trim on a 57 plate so it has leather, sat nav and climate etc, whilst the Audi would be in S-Line trim with the reliable 1.9 TDI, the Audi is also on a 57 plate.

  hi guys, long time no post on here looking to change the wife's polo to something with a little bit more prestige and comfort for her motorway journey to Manchester everyday. Currently has a 2003 polo tdi sport 1.9 100bhp. Have seen a 2004 04 Audi A3 2.0tdi 140bhp 3 door. Its the sport spec with lots of extras like xenon lights,cream suede/leather interior,parking sensors,cruise control, etc mileage is 119000 with full Audi history. We have been offered 4k for our polo as part exchange value and need to pay additional 5k to get the Audi.

  When did VW /Audi stop fitting these reliable injectors and move on to the unreliable siemens type in their PD engines? Have I got to look back to a 2002/2003 model year to get this reliability and an engine with no issues?

  I saw you mentioned to a previous reader Avoid new A3 Diesels unless you are changing it within 3yrs, why is this as I'm seriously thinking of buying the new Audi A3 Sportback 2013 and keep my cars usually for 5-10yrs?

  My Audi has developed an undiagnosed loud rattle underneath, mid way;  the engine and exhaust are OK.  It disappears going up hill, and gets worse going down hill and even worse when depressing the clutch.

  i have an audi a4 1600 on a 99 plate, i have developed a miss fire on the number 2 plug. i replaced the plugs and it persisted. i then checked the coil pack and the leads but there was no change as it still miss fire's --- any ideas on what it could be ?

  I have recently aquired an Audi A6 1.8T SE 1998 and notice that the dipped beam illumination is quite poor. It is the version with the Spherical Lense dipped beam. I have tried new suprbrite buls bur it made very little different.

  I have a 2000 Audi A4 TDI. Recently (unexplainably) the raido volume has become barely audible. The reception is good but the max volume is very low. I have been thru the manual and tried all the obvious stuff!! Any ideas??

  Hi, Just had AA looking at a turning over but non-starting audi 80 2.0 (ABK engine). He said it needs a new hall effect sensor on the distributor. Is it a big job and is it cheap. Would a new dzzy make more financial sense?

  Just driven a mates 93 Audi 80Tdi. The acceleration seems to be all or nothing. Am I right in thinking that these symptoms are typical MAF sensor failure. If so are there any checks that can be done to confirm this without having to pay for diagnostics?
