  In yesterdays Telegraph Business Section: Google, the internet search engine, has blacklisted BMW, the German luxury carmaker, for breaching its operating guidlines. BMW is alleged to have broken the Google rules by artificially boosting its search rankings. The so-called "Google death penalty" means a search for terms such as BMW or BMW Germany will not produce a link to the company's website.

  I have a built in satnav in my 2008 bmw 3 series but it always takes me somewhere about 3 miles from my final destination!  Is it worth getting a tomtom, will I have the same problems? Or is there a way to fix my bmw satnav? thanks

  Hi all, Can anyone explain the rationale behing BMW putting an engine designation on the back of their cars that is different to the engine hidden under the bonnet? IE a 118/318 has a 2.0 litre engine. Any clues?

  I'm going to buy a new car soon, so I'd like you to share your opinion on the following matter: what is better - a 5 years old Nissan Qashkai or a 10 year old BMW X5? I mean, what would you buy for roughly the same price? Nissan for £12500 or BMW for £10000.   I presume that parts for BMW would be more expensive. But how much more?

  Hi, Does anybody know what has happened to the "Edition" models of BMW 1, 3 and 5 series that were mentioned on this website and elsewhere recently? On the 3 series it offered metallic paint, bigger wheels, and leather for £750, and looked very good value. They appeared on the BMW car configurator at the beginning of March, but they have now gone, along with any mention of "Edition" from the BMW website.

  Hello, I've seen a BMW 330d on a y reg estate 96000 full main dealer history and just had a full service and checked over by an independent BMW specialist. I've read the reviews by HJ which don't read well. Can anyone advise if I'm wasting my time buying it its up for £4000 grand but is in excellent condition.

  stating the obvious - being fwd, an Audi will get thru tricky weather conditions whereas rwd BMWs, Mercs, Lexus etc will struggle. I know the quantities of snow we've got don't happen often, but rwd is mostly useless when it does. For me, it's no contest.

  Just as fixed my Golf the wifes BMW 330d headlight washer fell off.  The cover in the bumper is missing and the connection to the pipe has gone. Is there anywhere cheap to order matching colour and parts or is it a dealer job.

I used to use RG Lewis near Tattenhall who were absolutlely unbeatable on service and price compared to, lets say a well established competitor in Chester. However, they are somewhat out of the way know and I'd appreciate any recommendations of a indepenant BMW agent in the Northwich area in order to make ownership achieveable!!
