   Despite contacting Pirelli and other manufacturers no tyres of this size are available in UK, indeed many have told me I'm wrong suggesting that 225's are what should be fitted. I only need fronts (for imminent MOT) can I use 225's or any ideas where I can find what I think is the right version?

  I have two v%'s in front of me. The one issued about 6 months ago, says tere is no requirement to provide date of birth driver number or mileage. The one issued 3 years ago, only says no requirement for driver number or mileage.

  I asked for prices for 4 tyres balanced, fitted with VAT and valves. They suggest ,for my old Maestro, either Firestone 590's £130(£120 at a push), or for £110 (£100 if I ask nicely) they'll fit Kumho's or Falcon 590's. Does anyone have experience of either the Kumho or the Falcon. I'd be pleased to hear of your views if you have.
