Ford Kuga - Ford Kuga mk2 2.0 smoke and burning smell 10 Apr 2019 (Forum)
Been told smells like clutch burning (although clutch response didn't appear to be any different from any other time I've driven it, gear change smooth and biting point still quite low) or possibly the dpf regenerating and just law of s0d that I was stationary and the heat increase caused the smoke which had I been driving would have blown by unnoticed Never had a dpf in a motor so asking for any suggestions please Off to Spain tomorrow (yup, bad timing as always) so gonna call dealer as still under warranty but would like to go prepared with some info as the dealer was a little dismissive of past issues we've reported with the car Thanks in advance and free Spain keyring for anyone who can correctly diagnose this issue from the basic description ive given lol -

Toyota Avensis Tourer "Comfort" (Spanish spec) - No more common sense - no more spare bulbs! 6 Sep 2012 (Forum)
I asked at a main dealer and was told they are not made or provided for specific models any more as legislation in Spain was recently changed and spare bulb kits no longer have to be carried in the car. (I'm not sure whether this only applies to post-2012 cars, or whether all drivers of all cars are now exempt.) A generic spare bulb kit for "Most" of the bulbs would set me back about 20 Euro, though cheaper kits are to be found on eBay. -

Focus TDCi - New set of alloys at 35K - road humps to blame? 17 Jun 2010 (Forum)
Three of the four have been replaced by the leasing company and the Ford main dealer told me this kind of damage is all too common, now that speed humps are so "popular" all over Spain, just like in the UK. I follow HJ's advice on negotiating road humps (and pretty much everything else!) and with a permanently full boot I am not one to charge about the place, road humps or not. Road accidents, especially amongst children, in urban areas have to fall, no question. -

toyota verso 2.2 auto - gearbox oil change 10 Jul 2013 (Forum)
I am changing the oil on my Verso at 6500 miles prior a run down to Spain. The first service will be done in October. Is it prudent to change the Auto box fluid as well. I used to change my last Verso (Petrol) engine oil every 5-6ooo miles and the auto box oil every 30000 miles, and both were like new after 10 years. -
For Fusion 2002 Diesel 1.4 TD - Car part numbers 8 Jun 2011 (Forum)

I am trying to buy an alternator for my car from Ebay and am told it is for a 2003 model and I need to know if it will fit my 2002 model Fusion. The seller has come back with the part number - 2s6t-10300-cb 7oA - is there anywhere I can check online to find out if this part will be ok for my car? -

I have a question Volume 34 12 Feb 2004 (Forum)
I am in the market for a new hearing aid to replace the N.H. device issued F.O.C. in the UK. I now live permanently in Spain and I would be grateful for any advice based on backroomers' own experiences. I have been offered a digital programmable aid (by Widex - the Senso CX CIC) for the equivalent of £1245, including fitting, adjustments, and a five year guarantee.
